North Birmingham Judo Club

Tonight we welcomed the epic Ben Poppleton to the club, where he took players though more of his fabulous system.

A great session tonight and a welcome visit from local judo legend Keith Merrick, National Technical Coordinator for the BJA and IJF 7th Dan.

Well done to club instructors Neil Harrison and Tim Farrington. Today they attended a fantastic Katame no Kata course at the British Judo National Training Centre. Both successfully passed their level 2 Katame no Kata exams.

Today a small group of our players had a fantastic technical day with the British Judo Legend Neil Adams Mbe . A real treat and plenty to bring back to the club for our sessions. Some great hospitality too, and good food.

Dear all, due to the hot weather tonight's classes will NOT be cancelled. Drink some water before the session and pretend that you're training in Brazil. For those that wish to leave slightly early to catch the England game, please feel free.
