Our relationship with the scales can be problematic.
It can be a tool or a trigger.
Fat isn't lost or gained overnight.
If you can understand fluctuations and focus on trends over time - great!
If seeing an increase causes you to give up, not tracking it is probably the best thing you can do for your progress.
Whether you track your weight or not, ultimately the result your seeking will be a byproduct of your actions.
Remember to focus on those!

Sessions are 1 hour long
What to expect?
LLC is small group personal training. Sessions are capped at 4 people to ensure everyone gets sufficient coaching. Workouts are focused on building confidence with correct form & technique and scale-able to everyone so all ability levels are welcome!

Happy IWD to all the wonderful women I get to work with daily 💗
Women empowerment is something I feel strongly about and is the base on which LLC was built.
To me, the gym is more than just fitness.
It's self believe.
Pushing past comfort zones.
Discipline.
Accountability.
Confidence.
Strength.
Empowerment.
And I hope every woman can find that too, because lord knows the world doesn’t just hand it to us.
Thank you for showing up. For yourselves & for each other.
I truly believe we are stronger together. 💕

Protein for Fat Loss 🧵

Focusing on restricting usually causes the opposite.
You can only resist for so long.
Before you know it you’ve binged out the snack cupboard and everything is ruined, you might as well just start again Monday.
However, I find the opposite not to be true.
Focusing on getting more protein/ fruits/ vegetables into your diet doesn’t usually cause people to over eat.
When was the last time you binged on some chicken or vegetables?
No me neither.
Try focusing on what you can ADD to your diet, not what you need to take away.

Dear Fellow Perfectionists..
The idea your diet needs to be perfect could be the very thing holding you back.
Striving for perfection is setting yourself up to fail.
Know there will be times you feel like your nailing it and times you want to comfort eat your cupboard (we’ve all been there).
Recognising these feelings and setting up better coping mechanisms will serve you much better long term than beating yourself up.
Instead of telling yourself your not allowed any chocolate, start focusing on foods you’d like to include more of in your diet - protein/ fruit/veg.
You shouldn’t need a cheat day from your diet. Starving yourself Monday-Friday so you can go all out Saturday sounds counter intuitive to me but 🤷🏼♀️ it also creates this unhealthy idea of ‘good’ foods and ‘bad’ foods.
Remember consistency is better than perfection so strive for that instead.
