What does a perfect rest day look like for you?
A perfect rest day for me would be spending time with loved ones, eating delicious food and relaxing with a good book plus a cheeky matcha đľ
Favourite exercise â Deadlifts, without a doubt.
I was contemplating giving up on deadlifting completely but after receiving advice and guidance from people who excel with this lift I am now able to deadlift efficiently. My deadlifts have improved massively and I couldn't be more grateful đ
The one you pretend not to see on the programme.
It's no surprise, I hate cardio đ
𤣠but I love the health benefits and the results so we get it done anyway.
Whatâs a food you refuse to give up, no matter what your goals are?
I have to allow myself a sweet treat every so often đ I know it's not the best for our health but we have to live at the end of the day. Food is life đ
Whatâs something people would be surprised to learn about you?
I'm an identical twin! And no we don't have telekinetic abilities đ She was my inspiration for beginning my weight training journey
Whatâs your ultimate comfort meal after a long week? Steak with chimichurri and sweet potato fries.Still trying to keep it slightly healthy!

My body part that would need improvement is I would say biceps as Iâm lagging.
Whatâs a food you rely on when you need something quick but macroâfriendly?
Quick food for me is granola.
Whatâs something you want to achieve by the end of this year?
What I would like to achieve by the end of the year is to implement cardio at the end of every session.

Highlighting one of our own whoâs been pushing limits and inspiring everyone around them â¨
â˘A piece of advise I would give someone whoâs starting out is just start with the basics and be consistent with it the best growth and strength just comes from consistently training the basics and progressively overload with them
⢠My favourite way to warm up is dynamic stretching it just helps with getting a better lift.
⢠A small daily ritual for me is journaling everyday just something small and small affirmations go along way for self love.
⢠Iâm a massive foodie soo I love all food but one thing I have to have every week is steak itâs a must in my house.
⢠The song that puts me a good is BOX by SNOT itâs a old school nu metal band and just gets me hyped all the time

Todayâs spotlight is on a member who doesnât wait for motivation â they just turn up, rep after rep, day after day. đď¸Â
đ¸
-Whatâs one thing youâre proud of achieving recently, inside or outside the gym?
Inside the gym I achieved a whole year without any injuries while lifting way more than I even did beforeÂ
- Whatâs your goâto preâsession fuel when you need a boost?
Boost and water bottles, I donât eat before training only drink as I like to train early morning
- What first brought you to Unit Four, and whatâs kept you hooked?
Gadget has brought me first to Unit Four and what I has kept hooked isÂ
a. The facilitiesÂ
b. The gym communityÂ
c. Excellent staff
- What does a perfect rest day look like for you?
In an ideal world, the perfect rest day would be to stay in for the day but this is myth as Iâm grafting 7 days a week.Â
- Favourite exercise â and the one you pretend not to see on the programme.
Pull ups and conventional deadlifts are my favourite at the moment and shoulders day is the one that I pretend not to see but still box it off.

đĽ Shining a light on the legend putting in the graft and inspiring the crew đ
đ¸
1. Whatâs your goâto hype song in the gym?
I can't say I have a specific go to song but I would say anything Hip Hop or Old Skool Garage and House. You'll even catch me listening to slow jams đ
2. Whatâs your guiltyâpleasure snack
Iâve definitely got a sweet tooth, so Iâm a sucker for cake 𫣠That said, Iâm quite disciplined with itâI keep it as an occasional treat rather than a regular go-to. Everything in moderation right đ
3. What keeps me coming back to Unit Four is the people and the community. Iâve built some really good friendships there and thereâs always someone whoâs got your back. Even on the days Iâm not feeling 100% mentally, someone there always manages to lift me up, put a smile on my face and bring that positive energy I need to get through my workout. Itâs honestly my second home.
4. If you could ban one exercise forever, what would it be?
I love most exercises but there is a machine I would ban, only because I'm not very good at using itđ It's the Glute Ham Developer located next to the pendulum. I always feel like I'm going to fall forward and embarrass myself đ
5. Whatâs one thing that motivates you on the days you donât feel like training?
Discipline is what keeps me going, especially on the days I donât feel like training. The gym isnât just something I do, itâs part of my lifestyle.
I think that comes from being active from a young age. I was a dancer from the age of 5 into my 20s, and now in my 40s, that discipline is ingrained in me. I donât miss workouts unless itâs absolutely necessary.
More than anything, I train because I want to age well and keep my body moving freely as I get older. I understand how important it is to take care of your body now, so you can still show up for yourself later in life.
Thatâs what drives me. I refuse to be someone who canât move or look after themselves as they get older.

âźď¸ATTENTION âźď¸
â ď¸ZERO TOLERANCE ON WEIGHTSâ ď¸
The rules are being updated due to ongoing non-compliance regarding putting weights and equipment back after use.
⢠You get 1 warning
⢠Then a 3-day ban
⢠3 bans = membership cancelled (no refund)
No excuses.
No one is here to pick up after you. This is a gym, not a daycare.
You wouldnât leave your mess at home, so donât leave it here.
Respect the gym. Respect others.
If you can lift it, you can put it back.
Thank you,
Team Unit Four.
