🏆Principal’s Award - AMELIA ALLEN

🏆 Amelia has just got IT! She absolutely shines in class and on stage, in every single subject - she got the highest mark in the school and a distinction in her ISTD ballet exam, won gold and a trophy for highest marked novice solo for her lyrical solo at the competitions, won gold for both her modern duet & trio at the competitions and a trophy for highest marked junior trio, she only started gymnastics in September but has achieved so many skills! And just goes for it with lifts, being thrown and swung everywhere 🤣 And to top it off she’s such a lovely girl, listens to every correction and works her socks off every lesson, practices at home so she comes back the next week knowing exactly what she’s doing, and is a wonderful teammate supporting all her friends. She won the junior potential award last year and 100% shown herself deserving with how much she’s achieved this year and will no doubt continue!

🏆 Pupil’s Choice Award - HARPER RAE SHENTON

🤝🏻 This was a new award this year, where every single pupil in the school got to vote for who they wanted to win this trophy. I told them to vote for someone who they either look up to, or who they think works really hard or is really good at dancing and Harper got the most votes. I absolutely agree with the decision the students made, Harper is a fabulous dancer, a great teammate and a lovely role model for the younger pupils

🏆 Mini Potential Award - SOPHIA JONES

🏆 Junior Potential Award - AMELIA BELL

🙌🏻 Sophia shows such promise, always following instructions and dancing with lovely technique and musicality. She was the youngest dancer that performed with us at Drayton Manor and she took the stage by storm, standing front and centre, massive smile on her face knowing exactly what she was doing. A future star in the making!!

🙌🏻 Amelia only started with us last September just doing gymnastics and she absolutely blew me away, nailing trick after trick with ease. She then started dancing a few months later and just grasped everything so quickly and put her everything into every class. She is so much more talented at dance than she even realises and although she has moved out of Birmingham, I really hope she does let all this potential go to waste and keeps going!

🖤🩶🏆EDS AWARDS 2026 🏆🩶🖤

🏆 Class A Overall Award - IVY POPOVICI

🏆 Class B Overall Award - AVA WILDING

🏆 Class C Overall Award - LAYLA DEAKIN

🏆 Class D Overall Award - SCARLETT-LEIGH EVANS

🌟 Ivy has the legs, the feet, the smile, the brain, the whole package! She’s a great leader in her class, always remembering the routines and executing them fabulously, she not only won gold in both her lyrical duet and tap solo at the competitions but received trophies for highest marked baby solo and duet for both, and the baby personality award

🌟 Ava is a natural born leader, she is always front and centre knowing exactly what she’s doing and gives everything her all. She’s always putting in lots of energy, using her face and listening to all my feedback. She also gained the joint highest mark in her class for her ISTD ballet exam

🌟 Layla is such a lovely girl to teach, she is always practicing at home and in class, she’s there front row to absorb any information I give her and applies it perfectly! She has the most beautiful technique, always with turn out, stretched legs and feet and elegance. Her performance is starting to shine as her confidence is continuing to grow.

🌟 Scarlett is always dancing to 100%, I can always see her joy for dancing shine through, whether it’s energy and style in modern, feeling and dynamics in lyrical or precision and technique in tap and ballet. Her gymnastics has improved so much this year and she also gained the highest marks in her class for her ISTD ballet exam
