And the season begins for Erdington Rangers FC.
Rusty start for us in very humid conditions however we battled until the end and held our heads regardless of the 2-1 outcome to Sutton United FC.
Great penalty taken by Luke Adams to get us our goal.
Todays Man of the Match 🏆 went to Dan Nola who worked tirelessly up front, bought players in well and was unlucky to not get a great goal.
We go again and continue to push for that better outcome....👊🏼
Thank you as always to our team sponsors Skirting World Ltd for your continued support and our new kits ⚽️

SUNDAY 4TH DECEMBER 2022
(Rangers 4 - 2 Solihull Moors Foundation AFS)
Harrison ⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️🏅
They had no right to win that game really when you think about it. 3 key players out (2 keepers!) and another key player. Then to top it off another major player (Jake) goes off with a head injury. But nether the less they pulled it out the bag and gave everything to earn that win.
Massive thank you to Chaio for stepping in in goal and doing an amazing job. And thank you to the others who sacrificed their favourite position for the team (AJ and Bartley mainly).
Strange first half, was a decent performance but looked difficult to get into the game probably due to the cold and was very even as the score line showed (2-2). Rangers clearly had another few gears to go through and that’s what we seen in the second half. They were first to the ball, they got in their faces and created chance after chance. All were amazing but have to mention the work rate of Logan Kemp in that second half, box to box for 35 mins and it felt like him and Luke really got a hold of that midfield. Harrison was just relentless today, ran his socks off, had them scared and confused to what to do with him. His pace was unbearable for them, keeper couldn’t make his mind up whether or not to come out in the end cus H just didn’t give up one ball. Bagged all 4 goals for the team and earned himself man of the match so well done.
Big win and really showed their character today so I am a very definitely proud coach today, they all deserve credit for that display.
Let’s keep taking each game at a time and make sure we’re working hard in training. We’ve always got things that need to improve and if we stand still we will fall behind
SUNDAY 27TH NOVEMBER 2022
Great game!
(Rangers 9-0 Solihull Moors)
Even though Solihull Moors only came and played with 9 men, they came out and gave it a go, so a massive shout out and well done to them for that.
What a great team performance from our lads though, not one of our lads took the game as an easy game and all of them showed a touch of class, passing the ball around and taking their chances where and when they could giving us a huge win of 9-0 with Hubert opening up the score card early on, making it 1-0 and was quickly followed by a great goal from Logan Kemp making it 2-0. After a clumsy challenge from Solihull in their box Luke put away a great penalty making it 3-0 and Chaio seen his opportunity with their keeper off his line to make it 4-0 at half time.
The lads came out for the second half with that look in their eyes, that they had loads more to give, and that they did with Logan Kemp scoring early on in the second half making it his second and putting us 5-0 up. Aj wanted to get in on the action and took his chance making it 6-0 with Dan Nola also seeing his chance when their keeper was yet again off his line making it 7-0. There was no stopping Logan Kemp after he scored his second and managed to grab himself his well deserved third making it 8-0 and securing him the man of the match trophy. After another poor foul from Solihull Moors in their box our lads all came together to encourage Logan Hart to step forward and take the penalty which lead him to grab himself his very first and well deserved goal for Erdington Rangers making the final score 9-0.
Well done to all the lads today, it was really nice watching them encourage each other and well done to Logan Kemp on winning man of the match for showing great vision and grabbing his hat-rick.
SUNDAY 30TH OCTOBER 2022
Northfield Town v Erdington Rangers
(Erdington Rangers Win 6-2)
Anthony Hayden ⚽️
Daniel Bartley ⚽️⚽️
Harrison Rochester-Hill ⚽️
Logan Kemp ⚽️
Ethan Copestick ⚽️
Another win for Erdington Rangers, taking us through to the next round of the league cup.
Took a while to find our rhythm but they did just that and we’re clinical in front of goal. Six great goals dispatched by five different players. We took control immediately and looked very threatening down the left, which paid off when we took the lead within the first five minutes. Northfield Town did get into the game though and made it 1-1, but it was very short lived as we went in 3-1 up at the break with first half goals, two coming from Daniel Bartley and one from Anthony Hayden.
Started the second half well and picked up from the first where we had begun to move the ball around and dominate possession. Ethan Copestick grabbed his first goal for the team, Harrison Rochester-Hill got on the score sheet after showing great desire and pace to beat the back line, and Logan capped it off with a fierce strike to seal a very well deserved 6-2 victory.
Bartley earned himself man of the match by showing great skill and pace in the first half, putting us in such a strong position for the rest of the game.
Onto next weeks open cup game now and bring on the next round of the league cup.
