Exercises are just alternative ways of doing the same thing.
Yes, different exercises have pros and cons, but ultimately, if you really hate an exercise, do the alternative that you’re more comfortable with.

You occasionally need to pick up a weight that you can’t lift, in order to discover what weight you can.
Of course technique and safety comes first but don’t take that so literally that you forget to push yourself.

Mental health first aid training with at the lifting club 🦈🏋🏻♂️
Most mental health issues either aren’t visible or are intentionally masked due to the stigma - so it was good to learn about what signs to look out for and best practices when they’re needed 🙏🏼
