Join us for training one evening and see what you think. We meet in the annexe of Fox Hollies Leisure Centre every Tuesday and Thursday at 6.30pm, and Saturday mornings at 10am in various local parks (check www.sparkhillharriers.co.uk for details). Whether you're an enthusiastic novice, a junior, an experienced athlete, or just want to get fit we have something to offer everyone!

Can you believe Sparkhill Harriers was founded in 1902....wow.
The original 'clubhouse' was a rented room at Fulham coffee house, Stoney Lane, Sparkhill. The club moved in 1905 to the Horseshoe on Stratford Road and then in 1911 to the Bull in Hall Green. Today we are based at Fox Hollies Leisure Centre in Acocks Green where we are still going strong as a club.
Our clubs moto is "a club is what it's members make it" this perfectly sums up the community spirit of our club.
We offer a wide range of sessions:
👟 Mondays 6:30pm- a social run starting and finishing at the club. Varied distances and paces. (Free social run open to non members and members)
🏃♂️Tuesdays 6:30pm - Varied run sessions around the local streets and parks.
🏃🏼♀️Thursdays 6:30pm- based on the track at Fox Hollies. Sessions vary each week.
🎽Saturdays 9:30am - we meet at different venues each which is great to visit new places.
All sessions are put up on our web page each month.
Through out the year we also have plenty of social meets, our annual trip out to Weston-super-Mare, We hold a Presidents 5k run, our famous Christmas handicap run, meet at local parkruns and compete as a team at track and cross country league races and our exciting 100 club draw.

Tonights social meet was a gentle 4 mile run starting from Fox Hollies, running through the John Morris Jones Walkway, a very pleasant scenic woodland route running along side the River Cole before making our way back to the club.
If you feel like joining us for a relaxed social run, then pop along to Fox Hollies leisure centre entrance each monday at 6:30pm where you'll be greeted by one of our run leaders.
Our sessions are aimed at everyone, whether your new to running, returning from injury, returning back to the sport, wanting to keep fit or even just wanting to get out each week and meet new people - this is for you.
