Woodland Games | Hipkiss and Graney As the third Stirchley Woodland Games finishes for another Summer we would like to thank everyone who helped make it such a special event: from the teams and the audience, to our volunteer studio team and all the organisations that joined us to make it such a weird and wonderful day.

Thanks to the Co-Op for being part of this years Stirchley Woodland Games 2024!

This year marks the third year Co-op has supported Stirchley's Woodland Games and has seen it grow from a small community arts project to an annual arts and ecology festival!

Woodland Games a Hit in Birmingham On Saturday 17 August the second Woodland Eco Games took place in Stirchley, Birmingham at Hazelwell Park. The annual event in the brainchild of local art event expert and planners Hipkiss and Graney. The event designed to promote eco art alongside a range of fun wacky games most certainly bought

Another amazing year has concluded for the Stirchley Woodland Games!

Well done to all the great teams who signed up, all the local ecological and environmental management groups, all the artists, musicians and makers, and all the local businesses too that helped out and made the day as incredible as it was...

.. and lastly a huge thank you to residents, workers and friends of Stirchley who came along as our audience, cheering on our brave teams and celebrating our beautiful, crucial green spaces. You made the day.

Welcome to the Woodland Games 2024! Saturday 17th August! 2-7pm, Hazelwell Park, Stirchley!

Stirchley’s ecological answer to the Olympics... Fully solar powered sports, workshops and music.
This year we have six brave teams who are all playing for glory, honour and your applause!

With new ecological themed games and some old favourites, this year we’ll be playing...

Nutrient Cycling AKA Hero Balls!

With refreshments from and .brum live music from House Band, Yokitsune Taiko Ensemble, and PLUS artist installations and workshops from and - This is going to be Stirchley’s biggest Woodland Games yet!

AFTERPARTY… 7-11pm

With the games and medal ceremonies finishing at 7pm our audience is invited to for our closing concert where we are incredibly honoured to present PLUS DJ sets from and more!
