What went into my 12-week photoshoot prep 👇

✅ 12 weeks of consistency (SWIPE)

📉 17.6lbs lost

🥩 140g of protein every single day

🍽️ Calories never dropped below 1,700

🚶‍♂️ 10,000 steps daily

❤️ Weekly cardio target hit

🏋️ 4 weight training sessions per week

🍎 Prioritised whole foods, high-protein meals, and maximised fibre through plenty of fruit and vegetables while keeping calories relatively low

🧠 Trusted the process, even when progress felt slow

No magic detoxes.
No starvation diets.
No endless hours of cardio.

Just a sustainable plan, consistent effort, and patience.

The biggest lesson? Results come from doing the basics well, over and over again. Trust the process, stay consistent, and let time do the heavy lifting 💯

📸 Fun Facts About Shoot Days at C.A.N Fitness

💡 Most clients say they’re “not photogenic” before the shoot… then end up choosing from dozens of great photos.

😅 The hardest exercise on shoot day? Trying not to laugh during serious poses.

🎬 What looks like one perfect photo often takes 20-30 shots to get just right.

💪 Confidence usually grows throughout the day. The first photos are often the most nerve-wracking, and the last ones are usually the favourites.

🤝 No modelling experience is required. Every pose, angle, and expression is coached.

📱 Clients spend months looking at their progress in the mirror, but seeing it captured professionally hits differently.

🔥 The transformation isn’t just physical. The biggest change we see is how clients carry themselves in front of the camera.

🏆 Shoot days are more than photos—they’re a celebration of the hard work that got them there.

👀 Behind every great transformation photo is a lot of posing, lighting adjustments, and plenty of hype from the team.

❤️ Favourite part of every shoot day?

Watching clients realise just how far they’ve come.

My Weekly Non-Negotiables

I stopped relying on motivation a long time ago.

Now I just stick to a few non-negotiables every week — not because I feel like it, but because I know these habits are the foundation of everything I’m trying to build.

1. 10,000 steps a day
This is my baseline for movement and mindset.

It’s not about burning calories — it’s about staying active, clearing my head, and keeping my body consistent outside the gym. Some days it’s easy, some days it takes intention, but it always gets done.

If I can’t do this, everything else starts slipping too.

2. Weight training 3–4x per week
This is where real change happens.

Strength training isn’t just about looking better — it’s about getting stronger, more disciplined, and more resilient mentally and physically. I don’t chase perfect sessions, I just focus on showing up and progressing over time.

Even a “bad” session still moves me forward.

3. Sleep
Underrated, but non-negotiable.

No amount of training or steps can replace proper recovery. Sleep controls energy, focus, hunger, performance — everything. If this isn’t in check, nothing else works properly.

So I treat it like training, not an afterthought.

It’s simple, but that’s the point.

No extremes. No burnout cycles.
Just consistent habits repeated weekly.

That’s what actually builds results — and keeps them.

It’s discipline, not a deadline.

Everyone wants results now.30 days. 6 weeks. Quick fix.

But what happens after that?

Old habits creep back in…and you’re back at square one.

Because you treated it like a deadline, not a lifestyle.

Real change is built in the quiet moments—when you don’t feel like training, when motivation is low, when no one’s watching.

That’s discipline.

Showing up anyway.Sticking to your standards.Doing it over and over again.

No shortcuts.No finish line.Just consistency.

This isn’t temporary. This is who you become.

10lbs lost, body composition changes, confidence gain!

Megan didn’t wait for “the perfect time”.

Megan signed up in December, right before Christmas!

She didn’t pause because it was festive season.
She committed — and executed.

In 12 weeks she’s dropped 10lbs, trained consistently, and levelled up from a beginner to an intermediate lifter 💪

But the biggest win?

She feels confident, strong, and genuinely amazing in her own skin.

And now?

She’s not stopping.

She’s rolling straight into the next block, ready to push even further.

This is what happens when you trust the process, stay consistent, and stop letting the calendar dictate your progress.

Motivation is a lie.

If motivation was the key, everyone would be consistent.
But motivation is unreliable — it disappears the moment you’re tired, stressed, busy, or bored.

Results don’t come from feeling like it.
They come from showing up anyway.

Consistency looks like:
• Training even when your energy is low
• Eating well most of the time, not perfectly
• Doing the basics on repeat
• Choosing progress over excuses

The people who get results aren’t more motivated —
they’re just better at keeping promises to themselves.

You don’t need a hype speech.
You don’t need a “fresh start Monday.”
You need a plan you can stick to even on your worst days.

Show up.

Again. And again. And again.

That’s where the results are built.

Ellie’s body recomposition journey 💪✨

Her goal wasn’t weight loss… it was about tightening up, feeling stronger, and moving better.

Over 12 weeks, Ellie committed to:
✔️ Consistent, effective training
✔️ Balanced, sustainable nutrition
✔️ Showing up even when motivation dipped

The results go far beyond aesthetics 👇
🔥 Noticeable body composition changes
🧍‍♀️ Improved posture and movement
🧠 Stronger habits and routine that fit her lifestyle

This is what body recomposition really looks like —
not extremes, not restriction, not quick fixes…
just smart training, consistency, and patience.

So if you’re thinking “I don’t need to lose weight, I just want to feel tighter and stronger” — this is your sign.
