NO STRIKES TOMORROW MORNING!! 😢

Unfortunately there's been no rain or big thaw so unfortunately NO football tomorrow morning. Even the Central Warwickshire league have called off all fixtures this weekend.

As frustrating as it is..enjoy the snow..but pray this is the last of it and the children can get back to playing next week 🙏⚽️🙏⚽️🙏

We have had some great snowman built by some of our Strikes FC players ⛄️🧡🖤🙌

As i'm sure you have all guessed, the pitches are totally covered in snow and pretty thick too, so No Strikes this evening. With no rain forecast and freezing temperatures again later there is little to no chance it will clear at all for tomorrow morning's session either 😔 but I will update again this evening to confirm regarding tomorrow's session.

First Kicks for the 2 and 3 year olds will be on as normal 8.25-9.05am as its indoors.

Enjoy the snow and let's hope this is the last of it now so the children can get back playing ⚽️🙏

This is the current state of the pitches just after 8pm this evening 😩. There's a full layer of frozen snow on top and it's rock hard underneath ❄️🧊

The temperatures are in minus figures now until we are due to play at 10am and even then its supposed to feel like -5 degrees 🥶

Taking all this into account I have decided to cancel tomorrow morning's Strikes session now as there is little or no chance of it improving 😢 and i know parents would like to be given as much notice as possible, especially with the Villa kicking off at 12.30pm. The surrounding areas are extremely icy too.

With this in mind if we are able to play we will start at 10am but will have a pitch inspection at 9.25am, so I will update at 9.30am. (Children who normally attend Fridays are welcome to join us tomorrow if it's on)
