BBMX Open Session – Beginners Groups 1–3

To help some of our younger and less experienced riders get even more valuable track time, we’re running an additional Open Session for riders in Beginners Groups 1–3.

📍 Birmingham BMX Club
£4 per rider

This session is a great opportunity for riders to build confidence, improve their skills, practise gate starts, and get extra laps in around the track in a relaxed environment.

Whether you’re new to BMX or looking to gain more experience before moving up through the groups, we’d love to see you there.

No pressure, just plenty of riding, learning and fun!

🛠️ BBMX DIG DAY – SATURDAY 20TH JUNE 🛠️

With our Regional race fast approaching on 19th July, we’re calling on the amazing BBMX community to help us get the track looking and riding at its very best.

From clearing weeds and tidying the site, to track maintenance and general jobs around the facility, there’s plenty to do and every pair of hands makes a difference.

We know everyone’s busy, so we’re not expecting people to stay all afternoon. Whether you can spare 15 minutes, an hour, or the full session, any time you can give will be hugely appreciated and will help us enormously.

Our club is run by volunteers, and events like our Regional simply wouldn’t be possible without the support of our riders, parents, families and friends. Every little job completed helps create a better track and a better race day experience for everyone.

🏁 Redditch Regional Results – Well Done Team BBMX! 🏁

A huge well done to all of our BBMX riders who took on the Redditch Regional on Sunday. It was fantastic to see so many riders representing the club and giving it their all on the track.

🥇 1st Place
Dan Henry, Antek Porębny, Ronnie Wood, William Beckett, Matt Barnard (x2), Rin Serafina Janolino, Flick Brentnall, Reuben Sims and Ethan Howell.

🥈 2nd Place
Oakley Hill, Jasper Grant Smith, Ethan Shore (x2), Billy Harrison, Bonnie Dudley, Ellie Moore, Rohan Beckett, Dylan Spence, Fitzroy Bryce, Mac McNulty and Preston Newmarsh-Pow.

🥉 3rd Place
Roman Burdfield, Clara Smith, Freyja Critchley, Henry Shenton and Stan Mason.

A special mention to every rider who lined up on the gate throughout the day. Whether you came away with a trophy, a PB, or simply more race experience, you all played your part in another great day for BBMX.

One of the highlights of the day was the incredible team spirit. It was wonderful to hear the cheers and support as riders raced past the BBMX gazebo, with teammates, families and friends all getting behind one another. That support makes a real difference and is what makes our club so special. ❤️🖤

Congratulations to everyone who raced, and thank you to all the coaches, volunteers and supporters who helped make the day a success.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to our Fun Lap Friday event! The pizzas were flying out almost as quickly as the riders were flying around the track! 🍕💨

It was fantastic to see so many riders enjoying the motos, chasing fast laps, and battling it out for our hole shot prizes 🏆

Most importantly, it was great to see the track full of smiles, laughter, and plenty of BMX fun.

Thank you to all of our volunteers who helped make the evening happen, and to everyone who came along and made it such a brilliant atmosphere.

We can’t wait to do it all again soon! 🙌

Join us on Friday 29th May from 6:00pm–8:30pm for an evening of fun racing, pizza and plenty of laps ahead of Redditch racing on Sunday!

Whether you want to get some gate practice in, sharpen up before race day or just come along for a fun evening at the track, we’d love to see you there!

📸 We’ll also be taking a NEW team photo for the BBMX website on the start hill during the evening. If you’d like to be part of it, please make sure you join us for the pictures.

👕 If you have the new club jersey, please bring it along for the team photo too!

Our beginner sessions run on Saturdays from 10–11am and your first session is FREE! We also have equipment hire available if you don’t yet have all the kit listed.

Please always check our page before travelling to the track. Some Saturdays our coaches are away racing, which means the beginner session may not be running that week. We will always post updates on our page beforehand.
