The final session of Baseball for Beginners due to take place for tonight has been postponed until next week due to several of the regulars not being able to make tonights session.

Birmingham Bandits to run Baseball for Beginners course Sessions will be held from 6.00-8.00 pm at Marston Green Recreation Ground, Bickenhill Road, Birmingham B37 7EL. All equipment will be provided and the fee will be just £2 per player per session

Baseball for Beginners is due to start tomorrow evening at Marston Green.

At the moment the weather forecast is not looking too good, so please check back here before you set off. We will post by 5pm either way.

The Bandits suffered their first defeat of the season with a narrow 8-7 walk off in the first game at Leicester, before hitting back in the second game of the double header with a nail biting 7 - 6 victory.
This leaves the Bandits with a 7 - 1 record with the first third of the league season completed. There is now a break in league games until the 21st June with cup and Midland Minor League games the focus for next few weeks.
Sunday sees Long Eaton Storm visit Marston Green for a rearranged 2nd round cup game, with the winner playing Hull Scorpions immediately afterwards in the 3rd round in what should be a superb day of baseball.
On the 31st May the Bandits Midland Minor League season starts with a home fixture against the newly formed Coventry University team.
We will also be looking to commence our Baseball for Beginners course on Wednesday evenings from the 27th May.

Reluctantly due to the heavy overnight rain and the likelyhood of further rain during the day weve decided to cancel todays session, due to a waterlogged pitch.

A big thanks to everyone who was planning to attend.

However now the clocks have moved we can train during the week, and planned the first one for this Tuesday (31st) 6pm to 7.30pm. Everybody welcome.
