Photo drop of the last few weeks - will use this page more often to see how the engagement goes vs Instagram.
Some great projects, a few new learns, and lots of interesting bikes.
Customer service is the aim of the game Noisy bike? Rattles? Creaks? Don't worry...If your bike is in need, bring it on over and I'll fix it.

Cold mornings but dry and sunny in the day… getting longer miles in and ditching the rain jacket! Loving it 😍!
Another busy week starting with a power pedal refurb and fitting the front gears plus chainrings back on this Canyon.⚙️🔧
Next was this Cube, in for a gear tune and check over ready for some springtime miles 🌸🌼🚲
Another Canyon, this time a Grail gravel bike in for a service and some parts, including wheel bearings and brake pads. 🔧⚙️
Lastly this Storck Visioner in for some care, wheels trued, gear set up and a check over ⛓️🔧🚴

Getting plenty done this week after the weekend.
A Ribble TT bike build with parts from a bike that was built last week.
A look at how the front brake works with a centre pull roller mechanism. Then with the aero cover on.
Canyon service, new brake pads, bottom bracket and steerer cut.
Holdsworth cable guide cleaned out as part of a service.
Aprire custom dazzle camouflage paint job in for some work, including tubeless set up, steerer cut and a once over.
I’ve added a photo of HMS Argus to show where the dazzle camouflage came from.

Almost Feb! 70th of January, or at least it feels like it… it’s been a long month! 🤪
Had some lovely bikes in this week to build, add upgrades to and service. 🔧⚙️
The SL8 was amazing to test ride, it corners and handles so well… reviews aren’t my thing but I think I’ve sold myself one! 🤩🚲

It’s that time of the year where the gravel roads start calling!
After a weekend taster in September, riding from London to Bristol the gravel bug is back!
The bike has been relieved of it’s luggage carrying duties and is back to the bare bones of shorter, local explorer rides.
Upgraded components going into this autumn have culminated in a hybrid of Shimano and Sram drivetrain and shift components.
Two reasons for this, some of it was free, the rest of it was relatively cheap…
Sram Rival AXS wireless 12 speed shifters and derailleurs, Shimano 12 speed chain and cassette with a 1x 40 tooth GRX 170mm crankset.
Works an absolute dream!

Titanium derailleur hangers… 💥
Many people think that to make a hanger from titanium defeats the object of it being a breakaway piece of the bike, being a super strong metal.
If the chain or derailleur end up getting hit or tangled with the spokes then you’d expect the sacrificial, weakest part to break instead of your expensive frame, or at the very least the derailleur.
If you look closely you’ll see that the titanium is actually 3D printed, with a honeycomb design and this is still fragile enough to break away should the bike get hit in that area!
Clever design 👍🏻👏🔧
