As we prepare for the 2026-27 season, our Leadership Team delivered bespoke talks for our parents, carers and families.

We touched on our ethos and club vision, key team members, communication enhancements, policy changes, our commitment to safeguarding, player development and the importance of working together.

We’d like to thank all our families for making the effort to attend, we appreciate your engagement and support.

Wishing all our U16/U17 players and any other Year 11 leavers collecting GCSE results tomorrow the very best of luck.

Whatever happens, be proud of how far you’ve come and the progress you’ve made to this point.

Remember that your grades most definitely do not define who you are and what you will become. This is only the start of a much bigger journey!

Introducing our team for the 2026-27 season 👋

Our team for the upcoming season brings together a wealth of experience across football, education, safeguarding, business and community engagement, united by one shared purpose: making Maypole FC the very best it can be.

We are incredibly proud of the team we have built and remain committed to creating a stronger, more inclusive and forward-thinking club that is fit for the future.

We’re looking forward to another great season together both on and off the pitch 🤝

After an incredibly successful Charity Day last month, we’re extremely grateful to be able to make a further £750 donation, this time to our second chosen charity. Thanks to our generous community, family and friends, we’ve been able to match the £750 already donated to our first! 🤝

This afternoon, we welcomed the lovely Stevie Farndon from Birmingham Children's Hospital and Charity to accept our donation and take these wonderful photos! 📸

Another massive thank you to everyone that supported our MAYPOLE ON A MISSION initative - you make these things possible.

Over the last couple of weeks, Jay and Callum have had the privilege of overseeing our Wildcats & Squad Girls with the amazing Nikki taking a well-earned break.

They’ve been extremely impressed with the attitude, hard work and commitment shown by every single girl that attends. From the girls that have been with us for months to the new faces, every single player approaches each session with such positive energy and real enthusiasm.

As part of our continued commitment towards widening participation and the recent introduction of our Player Progression Pathway, we’re delighted that many of these girls will be joining us at Maypole FC for this upcoming season with our newly formed girls teams.

This is a massive step for us and speak volumes of the hard work put in behind the scenes over the last 10 months.

We can’t wait to see what’s next! 🩷

Our thoughts are with everyone impacted by the devastating fires yesterday afternoon. Many of our parents, players and coaches live on or within walking distance of Gorleston Road. We cannot imagine how difficult it was, and continues to be, for those involved.

Despite the events, the way our community has rallied together has been truly outstanding. By providing shelter, offering supplies and just being there to support, it's been a joy to see. We're so proud to be part of such a tight-knit community who, during the most important times, will always be in it together.

'Help us to help you' call from West Mids Fire Service - West Midlands Fire Service Deliberate fires started on one of WMFS's busiest days of 2026

On Sunday 12th July, we raised a massive £750 for Leo’s Legacy Foundation & Birmingham Children’s Hospital, thanks to our incredible community ❤️

Today, we met with the team from Leo's Legacy Foundation to share our donation and talk potential future initiatives. We'd like to thank Abi and Jas for taking the time to meet with us this morning 🤝
