What an incredible first weekend of our tournament at Maypole FC! ❤️⚽️

Despite the heat, teams turned out in their numbers and that made for an extremely successful weekend. More than 80 teams across the two days, 800-1000 young ballers, and over 5000 people in attendance - what an amazing turnout!

Congratulations to all teams taking trophies home or finishing runners up. Thank you to all coaches, players, parents, and spectators for displaying such high levels of respect, sportsmanship, and team spirit throughout - key values we hold close at our club.

A massive thank you to all the stalls and vendors that joined us across the two days. We hope you had a great weekend with us and we hope to see you back in the future.

The biggest thank you goes to our staff, coaches, volunteers, referees and committee members for making this possible. Hours of planning, preparation, and hard work behind the scenes and on the day - what a team!

Finally, to Roger Sheriff for capturing those special moments and magical memories for so many of our young ballers to look back on with immense pride.

MAYPOLE TOURNAMENT UPDATE 🚨

Firstly, we’d like to thank every team that has signed up for our tournament over the next two weekends.

We are delighted by the uptake in most age groups, but our U11, U12, U14 & U16 group still have quite a few spaces remaining!

For confirmed teams, please access the tournament through Tournify:

Simply type in “Maypole” and our tournament should come up. We will also be using this app to follow fixtures on the day.

All relevant information has been emailed out to those teams, with match rules and key details.

Responses via email are likely to be delayed over the next couple of days. For any urgent enquiries, please reach out to a member of the Leadership Team directly.

Just under a week until kick off at Maypole FC for our biggest ever tournament!

Our U9 & U10 groups are FULL but we still have spaces in all other age groups.

With the football taking centre stage, we also have inflatables, ice cream, pizza, pancakes, and our usual food (with a twist) from our high quality café on-site.
