A great display of boxing from Mikyle and Cedric last night.

First up was Mikyle against the home fighter. He started well and grew into the fight, before stopping his opponent in the 3rd round after two standing counts.

Next up was Cedric. A strong first round saw him outbox his opponent and stay out of trouble. In the 2nd round he again started well, but an accidental clash of heads caused the fight to be stopped and sent to the scorecards. Unfortunately, the judges somehow awarded it to the home fighter via split decision.

Very proud of our boys, and a big thank you to for the hospitality. Onwards and upwards 🥊

Birmingham city boxing club are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Pat benson, a true legend of Birmingham boxing. His impact on the sport and the community will never be forgotten. You will be greatly missed. Rest in peace.

Wasn’t our day for Romzee in the Midland Finals. We knew stepping in with just 2 fights under his belt would be a tough ask but it’s all part of the journey and gaining that experience. This will only make him stronger for what’s ahead. Keep your head up romzee your time is coming 👊🏾

A big congratulations to Romzee today in the national schoolboy championships. A good win against a much more experienced boxer. Onwards and upwards 🙌🏾

Congratulations to Cedric on a dominate unanimous decision win against a tricky operator this evening. Listened to instructions and took them into the ring. Well done onwards and upwards 🥊
