Graham Frost uses his lived experience of making Heart-Shaped Decisions to help young people make better choices in their lives. It was not all plain sailing.
Heart-Shaped Decisions CIC is about helping young people to make positive, heart-felt decisions in their lives. Graham Frost had to leave his entire family to start a new life when he was 17. By the time he was 19, Graham found himself in prison because he made some poor choices, and then he had to contend with testicular cancer in his early 20s. Now he tells his story and runs talks and workshops to share his lived experience and help young people to make their own Heart-Shaped Decisions.

Delighted that Heart-Shaped Decisions CIC has been accepted as a provider by The Careers and Enterprise Company.
This will provide many more opportunities for us to help young people with their confidence and self-esteem.
I started Heart-Shaped Decisions to help young people. In the past couple of years we have worked with dozens of men in prison.
One said 'Graham is the real deal. He has been there and done it. You should listen to him'
This year we'll be working in prisons again and in schools and colleges, with your support.
Someone asked me this weekend what the goal is for Heart-Shaped Decisions CIC for this year.
I said that I want to raise £50,000 to help 100 people in prison to build their confidence and self-esteem in order to change their lives for the better, and work with 1,000 young people in schools and colleges to set goals and make better decisions in life.
So I thought I should put that out there!

A beautiful sunny day here in the West Midlands, which encouraged me to stay out and exceed my 70,000 steps for the week once again.
I also received a completely unexpected donation of £500 towards my work today which has blown me away.
The £10,000 goal for fundraising through the GoFundMe appeal was set because it will enable me to run two programmes in a prison this year to help support men who want to turn their lives around and not re-offend.

For the past three months I have been walking 70,000 steps a week to raise funds for Heart-Shaped Decisions CIC to support our work in schools, colleges and prisons, helping young people aged 15-25 to build their confidence and self esteem so they can develop fulfilling and productive lives.
