Do you want to experience the rush of jumping out of a plane? Do you want to freefall from 14,000 ft? Well you're in the right place!

University of Birmingham Skydiving Society is here to help you become a fully qualified solo skydiver! We jump whenever the sky is blue and so can you.

University of Birmingham Skydivers, Athina Mavroudi and Mike Homes getting 2022 off to a great start at the Indoor National Championships at iFly Basingstoke this weekend.

Joining awesome coach and team organiser Rebbecca Bradley and superstar flyer Steve they formed Scratch22 and took to the tunnel to compete in the Single-A category of 4 way formation skydiving.

For those of you who are new to skydiving, or haven't experienced a formation skydiving competition, a scratch team is formed of members who have not trained together much or at all. In our case not only had we not had any team training, prior to the competition Athina and Mike had never even met Beccs and Steve let alone jumped with them.

The team had an absolute blast giving their all and showing off their skills. Many amazing moments and some fun carnage thrown in too. I bet none of the serious teams had as much fun as we did!

A great weekend and we cant wait to fly with you again.

WOW! what an epic night!

Huge thanks to Skydive Langar Tunnel Coaching for getting 9 first-time flyers in the tunnel.

Well done to our first-timers who performed admirably - We hope to see some of you back in the tunnel or even in the sky sometime :D

And to our pro-flyers who were doing a mix of FS and FF, thanks for putting on a great show!
