Well that was definitely the start to my time in India I hoped for! A week ago I was hospitalised in a Bengaluru hospital for 3 days with severe dehydration and gastroenteritis. I was so bad. There were moments where I felt I would have to fly home and abandon my studies completely. Luckily I had the best care available to me, and my family Abhishek and .singh.27 who supported me during these difficult moments, for which I am eternally grateful. Nurses calling me โbrotherโ and fulfilling my requests immediately, showed how much compassion there was in that ward. I am so grateful to all the doctors and for your care and patience.
The kindness I have been shown and been really touching. All your messages and well wishes really kept me going and helped me stay positive. I appreciate each and everyone of you and taking the time to reach out.. I have been able to join my training 2 days later and loving every moment so farโฆ
India is a challenging but necessary place to visit in your life. The real India that is. Not the resorts and not the beaches, but being amongst the people where you will build resilience, be asked questions at every turn, and leave a completely different person. You are enriched by so much colour and culture, that it is impossible to leave the country without something changing in you. You can get unlucky how I did, or you can have the best sickness free time possible. Visiting with a companion is advised but not impossible to be a solo traveller. And donโt forget to have travel insurance!
๐ท ๐ Just before leaving Bengaluru on Wednesday to go to the greenery of Mysuru. My home for the next month.

Recently I celebrated my 6th year anniversary of being your yoga teacher. Being your humble servant has been the honour of my life. Over the 100โs of classes, workshops and retreats, together we have grown in so many different ways to help make us into the kind, compassionate and empathetic living beings that we are and becoming..
I thank you with all my heart for trusting me with your time and space, as I seek to offer you a haven where you are seen, nurtured and so loved by me and all of us.
From day one, I have always wanted to be the person who helps to bring the community together especially bringing the underserved into the wellness space. This will never change and I am always looking at ways to strengthen what we have, while creating access though different events and collaborations, through yoga, sound and ayurveda.
As we enter the spring equinox, the messages we receive are around awakening, rebirth and renewal, and these are especially pertinent for me right now in this stage of my life. I have felt the strong call and pull into moving back into a place of receiving wisdom and knowledge, which will not only enrich my life but also help me be a better servant to you all.
We can then move to higher plains of enlightenment, as we help to shape the world into a rich, vibrant and united one, through our words, thoughts and actions with a heart centred approach in all that we do.
Next week I will be returning to my ancestral homelands of India for 6 weeks to study with incredible teachers and guides who have been on this path their whole life. My intention is to become a new version of the person I am evolving into, unlearning experiences from the past and finding inspiration to help me expand soar.. With everything I have, I wish to help you the next generations to live in harmony and peace, and watch people be successful in all that they do
This is the first time since I started teaching, that I am taking more than a week off being on the mat which is an exciting yet daunting prospect but one that is totally necessary.
I will miss being with you week to week but I am excited for you to meet me when I return..
I appreciate your support and give thanks to everything who has allowed me space for this to happen.
All my classes will run with some fantastic teachers stepping in for me, along with some pre recorded classes from. Some things will be paused and some TBC. Details about this later in the weekโฆ
Any questions, please feel free to reach out.. while I am away, you can contact me via instagram dm and email.
I am teaching this week as normal and my last classes before my trip are Sunday 17th March.

Itโs my birthday today!
Here I am another year stronger, wiser, and doing the best I can to serve you!
A birthday is always a day of celebration and reflection while ensuring I treat myself, usually with lots of delicious food! The biggest gift I have given myself is some time off after 5 and half years of working solidly!
In this role of service, that has been asked of me, there is a tendency in any position you love is to continue to give and forgetting your cup also needs filling. This is my main intention for this year, to schedule in rest and replenishment at the same time and booking in all our lovely sessions together!
Personally, I am continually growing in the many trainings I have undertaken this year and experiences I have had with people, to help me become a better person than I was last year.
I am feeling very enriched from the Birmingham art and music scene where I am being inspired by all of your words. You even made me feel comfortable getting up on stage recently! So grateful for that..
I have felt so much kindness, support and understanding from all of you and those who work with me, especially as I am continuing to navigate some personal issues which are beginning to feel resolved slowly..
Everyone who has attended a yoga class, immersion, sound bath, had an ayurvedic treatment with me so far this year or is new to my page and every person I have met for the first time, I see each and every one of you..
The best present of all is neighbours being back on tv this week and itโs going to be hard to top that!
