International Formula One Sidecar Team. In 2006 Ben took to the handle bars on a Formula Two sidecar alongside Ricky Stevens.

Team JH Racing is a Formula One Sidecar Racing Team based in Havant, established in 1993 when John Holland brought himself his first sidecar outfit. Iin 2001 John's son Ben started passengering his father, enjoying a few seasons racing together at various Club meetings. John continued to race with Tim Worsfold. The two outfit Team JH Racing competed for both F1 & F2 Championships at the British mo

torcycle racing club in 2006 and 2007. With John and Tim taking 3rd place overall in the F1 Championship and Ben and Ricky taking the overall win in the F2 Championship in 2007. In 2008 Ben and Ricky had decided it was time to make the step up to the Formula One Class and join John and Tim in competing for the F1 title. Ben and Ricky took to the F1 chassis like a duck to water winning the British Motorcycle Club's Formula One Championship very narrowly to John and Tim, who were only just a few points behind- a very successful season for the team. In 2009 Ben and Ricky decided to take part in the British Championships and John and Tim competing for the British Motorcycle Racing Club title once more. In a hard thought season for John and Tim they rode their outfit to a commendable 3rd place. Ben and Ricky excelled in their first season in the British Championship, taking their outfit to an impressive 6th place overall. Team JH Racing saw some major changes in 2010. After John and Tim's big crash at the last meeting of 2009 they had decided it was time to take a break from the sport and support Ben in his British and World Championship quest's. Lee Watson was also to take over the passenger role of Ricky Stevens, who now has started a new racing career of his own as a sidecar driver. The year had a very positive start with some good results, but the team were then plagued with mechanical problems and saw the team drop in the Championship standings. The year however was finished on a high note with some good results at the last two British Rounds at Donnington Park and Mallory Park.

2011 proved to be the year that Ben and Lee took another step up, the early part of the season saw good pace from the pair, but a few mechanical issues plagued them. At the mid season point the team started to achieve better results. Ben and Lee ended the season in great form with four podiums in the final 5 races of the British Championship boosting the team to 5th place in the final standings. Further improvement followed throughout 2012 and 2013, resulting in Lee and Ben achieving their best ever championship finish in 2013 of 3rd place with the help of FinningCAT's title sponsorship.

2014 saw a change to Kawasaki power, their innovative wet sump system however proved to be problematic with many non-finishes plaguing the team. However the pair still achieved their first ever British Championship race win and took 9th place in the final standings despite many non-finishes.

2019..... you’ve been challenging! Far too many mechanical issues to comprehend. But many positives to come out of this season.

Another issue in Race 1 meant that and started Race 2 from the back of the grid. The pair made their way back to 6th place, only to lose a position on the last lap after briefly leaving the track on the exit to the Gooseneck.

A weekend that just wasn’t to be!

, and the team went in to the Thruxton weekend with high hopes. Unfortunately an engine failure in Q1, a mechanical issue in Race 1 and then a black and orange flag, as tyre smoke was seemingly mistaken for oil in Race 3 changed everything.

In Race 2, Ben and Lee did manage to finish in a respectable 6th place after starting from the back row in 25th position.

Onwards and upwards to Cadwell Park in a couple weeks time 💪🏻🇬🇧🏁

Sunday’s race, and starting from row 3 the boys took the lead on lap 1 and held on for 3 laps. Unfortunately they slipped back as the race went on and finished up in 5th position.

Well done to our team mates Finishing both races in 3rd place.

Great to see both bikes finishing both races this weekend. Fingers crossed the teams reliability issues are behind us.
