🎾 **NEW! WALKING TENNIS IS COMING TO WATER ORTON!**

We’re excited to be launching **Walking Tennis at Water Orton & District Tennis Club from Tuesday 29th September!** 🙌

Walking Tennis is a slower-paced version of the game and is a great way to **get active, meet new people and enjoy tennis in a relaxed and friendly environment**.

It can be ideal for those who are **new to tennis, returning to the sport, looking for a gentler way to stay active, or easing back into exercise following an injury**.

📅 **Every Tuesday**
⏰ **7.30pm onwards**
🎾 **All ages and abilities welcome**
💚 **No previous tennis experience needed**
💷 **Weekly sessions are FREE**

Our first weekly session will take place on **Tuesdays at 7.30pm**, but as Walking Tennis grows at the club, **we hope to introduce additional sessions at other times too**. So, if Tuesdays don't work for you, please still register your interest!

To take part in the free weekly sessions, you will need to become a member of Water Orton & District Tennis Club.

Our usual adult membership is **£60 per year (April–March)**, but anyone joining specifically to take part in Walking Tennis can join for a **reduced fee for the remainder of the season for just £30**, with membership running until the end of March.

And membership isn't just for the Walking Tennis session – once you're a member, **you can use the courts as much as you like throughout your membership**. 🎾

🎾 SPRING LEAGUE – FINAL MATCH OF THE SEASON 🎾

A fantastic way to finish our Spring League campaign last night as Water Orton & District Tennis Club completed a rearranged fixture against Berkswell and Balsall Common with a brilliant 6–2 victory 👏

Representing the club were Lawson, Adam, Cody, and Owain, who all put in a superb performance to secure the win and move us into 3rd place in the table 💪

While we’ll sadly just miss out on promotion this season by one set, it’s been a hugely enjoyable and successful campaign with plenty of positives to take forward into the summer league ☀️🎾

A special thank you must go to Captain Adam Beasley for leading the team throughout the season. Our club relies entirely on volunteers stepping forward to help run teams and organise matches, and without that support we simply wouldn’t be able to compete — your efforts are greatly appreciated by everyone at the club 🙌

Thank you to all players and supporters who’ve been part of the Spring League season. We’re already looking forward to the rest of our summer fixtures! 🎾🔥

An outstanding effort from Lawson, Adam B, Adam H and Cody, who delivered a dominant display across all rubbers 👏

This result moves us up to 2nd place in the table, keeping promotion firmly within reach as we head into the final stretch of the season 📈
