We’re pleased to confirm that membership prices have been frozen for the 2026 season.

Renewals are now open, and existing members have priority to secure their place.

With memberships starting from just £1.15 per week, it’s great value for unlimited tennis all year round.

We’re really pleased to confirm Water Orton has invested in a new AI ball machine 🤖

This isn’t your standard machine… it will:
- Identify your weakest shot within 2 minutes
- Repeatedly target it until improvement is shown
- Adjust speed and spin based on your frustration levels
-Offer occasional “verbal encouragement”

🎾 Early testing suggests it particularly enjoys backhands.

Booking slots will be available from next week.

Looking for some fun to do today?? Grab a pen, pop to on White City, pick up an entry form and follow the clues around the village answering the questions as you go.

We’re now sitting 3rd in Division 3, right in the mix and pushing hard near the top — plenty still to play for! 👀⬆️

🔐 Club Access Update
We’ve today started the process of upgrading our club entry system.
For now, access remains the same — please continue to use your key as normal.

However, a gas hinge has now been fitted to the gate, meaning:
• You’ll need to give the gate a firm push after unlocking
• It won’t open as easily as before
• The gate will now close directly behind you

Over the next few weeks, we’ll be installing a keypad entry system to further improve access and security — more details to follow soon.

🎾 Spring League – Match Result 🎾
A strong performance from our Spring League team today as we secured a 7–1 win against Boldmere in our second Spring League match of the season.

After a tough first match, it was great to bounce back with a convincing win.

🎾 2026 MEMBERSHIP – PRICE FREEZE 🎾

Good news from Water Orton & District Tennis Club — membership fees will not increase for the 2026 season.

Thanks to careful management of the club, we’re able to keep tennis affordable and accessible for everyone.

📅 Membership runs: 1 April – 31 March
2026 Membership Fees
Adult – £60
Junior – £35
Mini (8 & Under) – £25
Family (2 Adults + 2 Children) – £148
That’s just £1.15 per week for adult membership — fantastic value for unlimited tennis.

Members can play anytime by simply booking a court online.

Membership renewals will open on 1st April.

All current members will receive an email with instructions on how to renew. Current members have priority to renew until 30 April, after which membership will open online to new players.

🎾 Spring League 2026 – Match 1 🎾
Our Spring League campaign got underway this morning with a home fixture against Sutton Coldfield 2 to open the 2026 season.

A tough first match against a strong side, with Sutton taking the win on the day (2–6 sets, 21–41 games), but plenty of positives to take forward as we build into the season 💪

This morning, 22 fantastic members gave up 2.5 hours of their time to help with our club tidy-up — and what a difference it made!

Many hands really do make these jobs so much quicker, and we’re incredibly grateful to everyone who gave up their Sunday morning to help keep our club looking its best for the season ahead.
