🎮 Meet the next generation of detectorists...

We’ve been creating some fun new Regton Findex Cards to celebrate real detectorists, real finds and the stories behind them. And some of the youngest faces in the pack have already made some seriously interesting discoveries!

From first detectors and first finds to Roman coins, hammered coins and everything in between, these cards give you a little snapshot of the young detectorists behind the finds.

But they’re not just for the kids...

If your child has started asking, “Can I have a metal detector?”, we’ve put together a new guide for parents to help you get started.

The Best Metal Detector for Kids: A Parent’s Guide by Age covers what to look for at different ages, what makes a detector suitable for younger users and, most importantly, includes advice from real parents and young detectorists who are already out there detecting.

The children featured in our Findex Cards are some of those real life examples, so you can see what getting started with the hobby can actually look like.

No complicated jargon. No guesswork. Just straightforward advice, real experiences and a few impressive finds along the way. 🔎
