🎾 WARWICKSHIRE COUNTY CUP TRAINING 🎾

It's been fantastic to see our Warwickshire players working hard at our recent County Cup training sessions!

With players across a range of age groups preparing to represent Warwickshire, these sessions are a brilliant opportunity to develop skills, build confidence and strengthen team spirit ahead of their competitions.

Join Warwickshire Tennis and Think Active for the first of our Autumn Venue Forums, focused on helping clubs better understand the grant and funding opportunities available and, importantly, how to put themselves in the strongest possible position when applying.

We’ll cover where to look for funding, what funders are looking for, the key DOs and DON’Ts of applications, common mistakes to avoid and practical tips that could help make your next application more successful.

Not looking for funding right now? Come along anyway! Having this knowledge before you need it means your club can be better prepared when the right opportunity or project comes along.

Whether you're thinking about facilities, equipment, growing participation, inclusion, community projects or developing your club, this is a session worth having in your toolkit.

🎾 Warwickshire players shine at Grantham! 🏅
Last weekend, four Warwickshire players travelled to Grantham for the LTA Learning Disability & Autism Regional Tennis Competition, with some fantastic performances and plenty of medals coming home!

🥉 David Carlos stepped up to yellow ball for the first time and secured bronze in his singles division.

🥇 Matt Knight also competed at yellow ball for the first time, taking gold in singles, before adding another gold in his first yellow-ball doubles competition.

🥉 James Lang claimed bronze in singles before teaming up with his doubles partner to battle through a tough draw and take silver.

👏 Adi Sistla finished a very creditable 4th, continuing to make great progress at green-ball level.

A brilliant weekend for the team and fantastic to see Warwickshire players progressing, challenging themselves and enjoying competitive tennis. Congratulations to all four players! 👏🎾

🎾 A huge congratulations to Sutton United Tennis Club on an incredible 100 years!

1926–2026 marks a very special milestone for the club, celebrating a century of tennis and generations of players, volunteers and members who have all played their part in its history.

Warwickshire Tennis was delighted to help mark the occasion with the presentation of a Centenary Map, presented by Susan Hopcraft, Warwickshire Tennis Secretary, Director and Board Member.

Reaching 100 years is a fantastic achievement and a real testament to everyone who has contributed to the club over the past century.

Congratulations to everyone at Sutton United Tennis Club on your centenary – here’s to the next 100 years! 🎾

We’re excited to be hosting our next 7 & Under Fun Day for children born in 2020 or 2021 on Sunday 18 October.

📍 Venue: David Lloyd Coventry, Abbey Road, Whitley, Coventry, CV3 4BJ
Indoors on the badminton courts using sponge balls
Delivered by Lianne and Jenny
Each group will enjoy 90 minutes of coaching, games and fun!

We’ve got three specialist online sessions coming up this autumn, designed to give clubs practical advice, expert insight and the chance to ask questions directly

AI for Club Volunteers
Simple, practical ways AI can save volunteers time with club admin, communications and everyday tasks.

Thinking about padel? Find out what your club needs to consider before taking the next step.

💻 All three sessions are live online, with Warwickshire Tennis representatives joining each forum too.
