Martin had another great 48 hr trip on the 200 acre lake that did him 10 takes with 9 landed. I had a cut off on the other. With fish from 22lb upto 36 lb . Here's a few of the fish .36.8 , 33lb , 32 lb , 28 lb and thought I'd throw in a scaley 24.8. I did have a couple of other 25 plus fish but didn't bother with photos of all. Usual tactics gripper hooks skinline and downfall leader....great angling mate 💪🏻

Over to Ricky Tedstone for a quick write up of what hes been upto....Here is a few of the best from my last couple trips 32lb 4, 39lb 6. My last trip i turned up at my syndicate early Friday evening got the camp up and rods on the spots and it was time to breath and relax . But around midnight the fish had other ideas and started spawning heavily sounding like a paving slabs dropped from a plane, so rods reeled in. Jumped into bed and try to sleep 🤣🤣. 1st light came watching 30s and 40s crashing in the reeds was a great sight.
A move onto the 3 acre Saturday morning thinking there going to go that night but luckily nothing.
Nothing came till Sunday morning after putting out a spinner rig with a size 6 gripper attached to a flouro boom cast to the back of an island. A single bleep into a one toner resulted in a 26lb 10. Back on the spots I was away again almost ripping the rod off the pod and a 29lb 4 was landed. A good result in the end but a long wait now till the lakes open again.well in Ricky top angling as always 💪🏻

Danny G got guested a ticket onto a mates syndicate water for a social for his birthday for a 24 hour session,he says...with a heavy wind that got stronger it seemed to push the fish from the middle of the lake over to the far margin so ofcourse i had to go investigate....the wind had pushed w**d into the far margin and carp were moving along the front of it....mind made up i decided to fish long at 27 and a half wraps which put me a rod length infront of the w**d and then put 100 baits along the margin... rigs were my combi multi rigs but with there being a barbless rule size 6 grippers were the hook of choice and match the hatch hook baits....3 fish graced the net a 28.2 two tone common,a 23.2 and 19 common....not bad for a 3 acre lake with a stock of 30 carp thats supposed to be rock hard 😉....
Well done Danny 💪🏻

The main man of Vardis Ade Wilson had an invite to fish a very special little water, with it being his first time at the venue he did a cpl of laps and found an area that although was very w**dy had 2 lovely margin spots he could wade to and place bait and rigs by eye....after baiting along the margin and slackening everything off he had time for some tea and then get his head down....this beautiful common decided he needed waking up in the early hours and pulling the scales round to well over 30 pounds he was buzzing....size 4 grippers on a ronnie rig with vardis fluro boom and a match the hatch bottom bait being the winning combo.....well done the Boss 👌
