2026 so far...

It’s been a blast🚀 Already we have ran several holiday camps over Spring Half-Term and Easter break, coordinated various School Games competitions and festivals, including the School Games yr3+4 multi-sports festival. We have continued our girls football community sessions alongside Aston Villa Foundation, rolled out a new Erdington tennis project ‘Rally Together’ in partnership with the LTA - Tennis For Britain, as well as collaborating with organisations to start the Shard End Physical Activity Network Sport Birmingham Amongst all this we continue to keep PE and physical activity as a priority in schools ❕We can't wait to see what next term will bring😆

As the summer term comes to a close, we wanted to do a check-in for our Rally Together project, which has now been running for 7 weeks!

We are thrilled to have engaged 145 women and children in park sessions, the majority being 7-11 yr olds, who have been enthusiastic and key to the project's success so far.

Our next goal is to engage even more women, through fun sessions, which combine racket and multi-sports to create a safe space for women to be active and develop friendships😊

Since our last check-in we have also delivered Rally Together sessions in Stockland Green school, St Edmund Campion and Erdington Academy, which has seen 36 secondary girls participate 🙌

⚽☀️ So proud of our Year 5 football team today! They worked incredibly hard in the heat, showed fantastic teamwork, encouraged one another throughout, and demonstrated resilience in every game. Most importantly, they showed respect to their teammates, opponents, and everyone involved. Thank you for hosting Spark Active
