***AGM Update***
Reminder that the 2024 AGM is this Saturday at Circo, 5-8pm. If you have a presentation/video, please email it to Phoebe (pxh947) by 1pm on Saturday.
Voting will be done via a google form which we will release at the end of the AGM. We will leave voting open for about 15 mins, then announce the winners.
It is not too late to run for a role. If you would like to, then please refer to the previous AGM post with the sign up sheet and role information.
Also note that the role previously titled “Welfare and Inclusion Officer” has now been changed to “Inclusion Officer”. The reason for this change is that UB sport has said that clubs should no longer have a welfare sec. We currently do not have a candidate for this role, so if you think you are a good fit please put your name down.
We will be going to fab after. You can get tickets through our own link here: https://www.guildofstudents.com/ents/event/8946/?code=010nis
If you have any other questions prior to the agm, please feel free to ask Raven or Phoebe.
Thanks,

***TERM 2 TRAINING TIMES AND NEW MEMBERSHIPS***
Hi all,
All those that were part of the tennis club last semester should have received an email with new training times. For some, training sessions will be reduced this week due to an issue with court bookings, but you will receive an email at the end of this week with your full schedule for week 2 onwards if this has affected you.
If you have not received an email then please email the following with your semester 1 squad allocation:
[email protected]
Anyone that has purchased a membership for semester 2 (term 2 membership or social membership) will receive an email at the end of this week with a squad allocation and training times. Semester 2 memberships are still available to buy via the UB Sport website.
The Tennis club will have a stall at the sports fair this Wednesday (17th) between 11-4 in the Underground of the Guild - if you have any queries regarding how to join the club this term or general enquiries then we encourage you to come along and have a chat with one of our committee members.
Finally, make sure to follow UoB Tennis on Instagram and Facebook to keep up to date with training updates, socials, events, etc.
Cheers,
UoB Tennis
