⚪️🔵X7’s Leicester Tigers tournament🔵⚪️
Our U16’s stepped out of there comfort zone today to take part in a 7’s tournament. It was a hard time to transition from 15 a-side to only 7 aside, but the lads showed great team work in hot conditions. Last tournament for them before they move to Colts next season. A massive thank you to the coaches for organising. The Tigers game after was an added extra.

And that’s a wrap to the season for our combined Erdington/Veseyans Rugby U16 team. Their first full season as a team and they didn’t disappoint. A massive thank you to all of the coaches and everyone that turned up to help with the logistics of making sure this team ran smoothly. Well done to the lads for working together as a team to show the rugby spirit, even in the challenging moments! Roll on Colts!

⚪️🔵U16’s v. Tamworth🔵⚪️
Not the result that the boys wanted today, but a fantastic game of rugby regardless of injuries (old and new). The boys showed determination and grit throughout and came back fighting in the second half, unfortunately there just wasn’t quite enough time! Teaming up with Veseyans Rugby has definitely been one of the best things these lads have done, going from having not enough players to playing matches as often as they can. Massive thank you to the coaches who ensured the seamless link, the bond between the boys has become unbreakable.

⚪️🔵U16 v. Camp Hill🔵⚪️
Our U16’s had a tough game this morning when they faced a strong Camp Hill side. The boys nearly pulled the game back after some unlucky first tries from Camp Hill, but unfortunately did not manage to secure the win. Brilliant game and effort from everyone who played. They face Tamworth next week in the last game of the season!
