FISHERY SALE – UPDATE

Following our announcement regarding the sale of the Fishery we’ve been absolutely overwhelmed by the amount of interest and the number of enquiries we’ve received. Thank you to everyone who has got in touch.

We’ve had lots of messages through Facebook, WhatsApp and our social media posts asking for information such as turnover, accounts, asking price, agent details and other business information.

At this stage, we won’t be providing any information regarding the fishery sale through social media, Messenger or WhatsApp.

We are also yet to appoint an agent, as we’re still weighing up our options. Depending on the offers we receive, we may choose to deal directly with a serious buyer rather than proceed through an agent.

We’d be very happy to arrange an informal meeting with genuinely interested parties, where we can discuss the sale, answer questions and provide further information.

We appreciate everyone’s interest and understanding while we work through what is a very big decision for us.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING THE FISHERY

After a lot of long conversations and careful thought, we’ve made the decision to put the fishery up for sale. This place has been a huge part of our lives and we are immensely proud of what we’ve built.

Over the years, we have poured our hearts and souls into creating something we are incredibly proud of. More recently we have also had the pleasure of developing The Lake House, Roe Lake and Lillies Cabin, which have become an incredibly popular part of the fishery.

We want to be upfront and hopefully stop any rumours before they start, this isn’t about anything dramatic, it’s simply that for we’re ready for a quieter and slower pace of life. We’re deeply grateful to every angler, every guest, every member of staff and everyone who’s supported us, whether from day one or just recently.

The fishery has given us so many unforgettable memories, as well as an amazing place to live and although it’s sad to be closing this chapter, we’re excited to see what the future holds, both for us and for whoever takes on this place next.

Please be assured that all existing match bookings and lodge bookings will be fully honoured. We are not anticipating a quick move and for now it is very much business as usual at Alvechurch Fisheries.

We completely understand that people may have questions, but we would kindly ask that you please don’t post questions regarding the sale on here, as we won’t be answering them via social media. We would also really appreciate it if people could refrain from bombarding the fishery or our personal mobiles with phone calls also.

There is nothing that our customers or guests need to do, all bookings remain in place and will continue exactly as normal.

Should there be anything that our anglers or lodge guests need to know in the future, we will of course keep everyone informed and post any relevant updates through our social media pages.
