It is with great pleasure that we present our first black belts.
Karen, Lisa and Reuben successfully passed their shodan examination at the English Shotokan Academy's residential Lilleshall Course.
Since beginning in 2016, the club have strived towards improvement, reaching a high standard and quality over quantity.
Congratulations to our new yudansha who achieved this standard endorsement on their Karate journey.

On 20th October a group of us attended a course with Glyn Jones sensei (Goju Ryu), Calvin Collins sensei (Sankukai) and Stuart Hughes (Shotokan). A great couple of hours considering the differences between kata versions. Thank you Stuart sensei and Forge Shotokan for the invite!

On October 19th, a group of us attended a seminar in Abingdon with Velibor Dimitrijevic sensei, 8th dan. Much to think about regarding Kase Ha Karate. Thanks for the invite.

Yesterday we said good luck and 'see you soon' to Sithika as he embarks on his journey to Prague to study medicine. Good luck sir! Keep up the good work in the dojo too 🥋
