We had a great outing last night at the .fightingchampionships

10 of our students competed, and we came away with 8 wins and 2 losses….with 6 of those wins coming by stoppage.

First up, our junior fighter Jacob Minnis had his debut bout. He listened brilliantly and secured a unanimous decision win.

Next was in his second fight, earning a second round stoppage via liver shots. Well done, mate.

Then we had , also making his debut, who matched that result with a second round stoppage via liver shots. Brilliant work.

was next in his third fight, facing a more experienced opponent. Joe also secured a stoppage via liver shots…this time in the fifth round. Wicked work, mate.

followed, also against a more experienced opponent. I felt that after seeing the earlier finishes via liver shots, he tried a little too hard to replicate that and lost some of his usual flow. Nevertheless, it was a strong performance from start to finish. He lost via decision, but there’s still plenty more to come from you, mate.

Next was . It was a frustrating fight, as his opponent spent most of the time avoiding engagement. Cam did everything he could against a non-committed opponent and came away with a unanimous decision win.

Jacob Roberts stepped up for his first B-class bout with elbows and delivered a first-round KO via elbow. This is the best you’ve trained, mate….and it showed.

allsopp defended his Midlands Area title and wasted no time, stopping his opponent in the first round. Out of Kieren’s 8 wins, 7 have come in the first round. Awesome work, mate.

Then we had “The Butcher” in his final fight — and what a performance to finish on. Shaun stopped his opponent in the third round after multiple knockdowns: first via a liver shot, then a head kick, followed by a right cross. The referee stepped in after he hurt his opponent again. An incredible send-off, mate.

Lastly, stepped into his first A-class bout. He was calm and composed as always, nearly finishing the fight multiple times with calf kicks, but his opponent kept pushing through. Herman slowed slightly in the final two rounds, allowing his opponent back into the fight, and he lost via split decision. One of the judges (from ONE Championship) actually scored it in Herman’s favour and explained his reasoning….but it is what it is. Great fight, mate.

I’m a proud coach. It makes my job a lot easier when I have students who want it just as much as I want it for them.

A huge thank you to my corner , , Juan, .k219m ….yesterday would have been a nightmare without you….and a big thank you to for helping with the fighters’ classes and getting the boys ready 🙏
