Couple of examples of my clients meal preps. With the PT side of things it’s easy to train 3/4 times a week. The nutrition is the hard bit. For some people. Not for people who use the app! Great meal plans and choices, accountability and fun. Catering for all dietary requirements. Including etc etc.

when I was back in Afghanistan I got into resistance training and dropped cardio. I became faster, stronger and healthier. I shortly after left the army realising that the training, similar to classes and a lot of running were not healthy or getting me where I wanted. The malnutrition in the army was not great either, the food commonly referred to as pedigree chum, which I wouldn’t actually feed to a dog. Some of you may remember my hard to swallow pills post about how classes won’t help you reach your goal. Because nutrition is the key! But I digress. Took me 4/6 months of no cardio training and eating 5/6 times a day and a 1kg tub of protein a week. Also great guidance from a trainer from Canada.

Overhead press, difficult but effective. Make sure it’s part of any routine you have. Same as deadlifts and squats.

Progress updates! A client you have all seen before has been away on holiday for the last two weeks, these are the results from today’s check up. The goal has always to improve strength and power. And she has! So pleased with the work she puts in every session. Absolutely kills it every time! Looking forward to the next month!

Some gains on the legs and butt and not a stupid IG resistance band exercise in sight. Just the basics! Squats, bench, deadlifts.... and others. Don’t believe the fads and people trying to sell products online!
