Doctors. Managers. Directors.
People who run departments,
lead teams and make high-stakes decisions
before most people have had breakfast.
They train here on Saturday mornings.
Not because they have spare time.
Because they decided their performance matters in every area of life.
Two weeks into our Hybrid Games prep block.
Not one session missed. Not one person quit mid-circuit.
This is CityAthlete. Semi-private coaching.
1 coach to 4 athletes. Every session built with purpose.
Not an open gym. A performance coaching facility where busy, high-achieving people train with the same precision they bring to everything else they do.
June intake — 7 spots left.
DM me ATHLETE. Tell me what you're training for.
Cityathletebirmingham
Athlete-style training for busy professionals in Birmingham. Semi-private, coach-led sessions focused on strength, speed, and conditioning. This isn’t open gym.
This isn’t a class gym. Every session is structured. Every rep is coached. Train with intent.
Week 2. Nobody quit.
600m. Assault Bike. DB Sn**ch. Repeat.
I wore the vest I last competed in back in 2010 and ran every metre alongside them. That's the standard here.
7 weeks to the NEC Birmingham.
Two things still open right now.
Hybrid Games prep group, spots still available. Racing in July without a structured block? This is it.
June semi-private coaching intake
1 coach to 4 athletes. 10 spots total.
3 already gone to the waiting list. 7 remaining.
DM me ATHLETE right now. Tell me your goal before those spots are gone.
Last time I wore this I was running 100m at
international level. 10.29 seconds. 2010.
Today I put it back on to train 6 athletes
for the Hybrid Games at the NEC Birmingham.
7 weeks out. First race sim done.
Same vest. Same standard.
Thinking about entering the Hybrid Games? DM ATHLETE. I'll tell you if you're ready.
Nobody walks into Week 2 feeling comfortable.
That's the point.
Sprint work on the track. Plates loaded.
Mechanics drilled before the weight goes up.
These athletes are 7 weeks out from the Hybrid Games at the NEC Birmingham and every session from here has a job to do.
This isn't general fitness.
This is race prep.
There's a difference — and you feel it in Week 2.
DM ATHLETE — tell us your race goal.
I have a Nigerian client who speaks yoruba..Big mistake...
Four people maximum per session.
This is what happens when you put the right people in a room together.
One of my clients is Nigerian. Somewhere between sets she decided to teach the other client how to tell me to get lost. In Yoruba.
He used it immediately.
This is semi-private coaching at CityAthlete.
Yes we train hard. Yes the programming is serious.
Yes people come in with injuries, goals, and life stuff they're working through.
But this is also what it looks like.
People who started as strangers six weeks ago now have inside jokes. They show up for each other.
They laugh mid-session.
They learn each other's languages apparently — at least the parts that are useful for telling the coach where to go.
That's the environment we build here.
Not a gym where you put your headphones in and disappear.
A place where four people work hard together and somewhere along the way it becomes something they actually look forward to.
Even when they're ganging up on me.
Especially then.
If you want in — DM ATHLETE.
Most boxers train hard.
Few train like this.
This is — week 6 at CityAthlete.
Strength and conditioning built specifically around how he performs, recovers, and competes.
Six weeks in. Different athlete.
No random circuits. No generic programming.
Every session is periodised. Every session has a purpose.
This is what metabolic conditioning looks like when it's built for a serious athlete — not just someone trying to get fit.
📍 CityAthlete — Birmingham City Centre
DM ATHLETE — if you're a serious athlete, we need to talk.
50 minutes. 4 machines. 1 complex to finish. No excuses left.
Midweek. Full Stride. Program 2.
Treadmill into thrusters.
Bike into bench.
Ski erg into rows.
Rowing into high pull.
Then a KB Complex
40 seconds on. 20 seconds rest. That's it.
Most people separate cardio and weights.
We don't. Every pairing has a reason.
Every session has a purpose.
This is what coached conditioning looks like at CityAthlete.
Semi-private. Max 4 athletes. My eyes on you every rep.
May is open. Spots are limited.
👇 What's harder for you — the cardio or the weights? Tag someone who needs to answer this honestly. 😅

Told a professional boxer one more set…
said no. 😂
Can't argue with that.
This is what we do at CityAthlete. Every rep counts.
DM ATHLETE if you've got more left in the tank and you're ready to be pushed like this.
You don't need more effort. You need a better system.
May at CityAthlete.
Banded pull-ups. Explosive press-ups. Single leg work.
50 minutes. Coached properly.
No guessing. No wandering.
You show up. We handle the rest.
Four people per session.
That's it. You're not a number here.
This is how I trained at elite level.
Now it's built for your schedule.
May spots are open.
The last person who waited lost their spot to someone who didn't.
👇 Be honest — are you following a plan right now, or just turning up and hoping it works?
