🎾 Junior Tennis is coming to Pype Hayes Park! 🎾

We’re excited to officially kickstart a new Junior Tennis Programme at Pype Hayes Park this June, giving local children the opportunity to get active, learn new skills, make friends and enjoy tennis in a fun, welcoming environment right in their local park.

📍 Pype Hayes Park
📅 Starting Sunday 7th June
⏰ 9:00–10:00am | Ages 4–9
⏰ 10:00–11:00am | Ages 10+

✅ LTA qualified coach
✅ Equipment provided
✅ Beginner friendly
✅ Extremely accessible sessions
✅ Just £2 per session

The programme will run as a 6-week block throughout June and July, with another 6-week block planned for September when schools return.

This is a fantastic opportunity for children to enjoy low-cost, accessible tennis sessions at their local park and give tennis a try in a relaxed and supportive environment.

We would love local schools, parents and community groups to help spread the word and make the most of this great opportunity for young people in the area 💚

A brilliant weekend of tennis for Lichfield Friary Juniors! 🎾👏

Our 12 & Under team produced a fantastic performance to beat Edgbaston Archery, while the 16 & Under Div 1 side held their nerve in an exciting shootout victory against Stratford-on-Avon! 💪

There was more success for the club as our 16 & Under Div 2 team secured a great win over Streetly, showing the depth of talent and determination across our junior programme.

A special mention as well to our 16 & Under girls, who battled hard against a strong Streetly side. Plenty of positives to take and great experience gained for the team. 👏

Well done to all players, parents and coaches involved. The hard work continues to pay off! 💙🎾

What do you do in 25+ degree weather? ☀️🎾 You get out on court and play tennis, of course! 😄

Another fantastic Free Park Tennis session at Cannon Hill Park this weekend and one of our biggest groups yet! Amazing to see so many people of all ages and abilities coming together, sharing the courts, being active, meeting new people and enjoying the sunshine. 🙌

A huge thank you to all of our incredible volunteers who give up their time every week to make these sessions possible. Your energy, encouragement and community spirit truly make a difference. ❤️
