OFFICIAL: JOE JENKINS RE-SIGNS FOR BOURNVILLE RFC 🍫

We are delighted to confirm that Joe Jenkins has committed his future to Bournville RFC for the 2026/27 season!

A Wales Sevens international, Joe was the model of consistency throughout the last campaign, his experience and composure proved crucial in the closing weeks of the season.

Joe has just completed his second season at Avery Fields, having arrived in Birmingham back in 2024 when his academic studies brought him to the city, although his rugby journey has taken him across the globe: he has played in Brisbane, Massachusetts, Edinburgh and Swansea before joining us here at Bournville.

Equally comfortable in midfield or across the back three, he brings a wealth of experience, calm decision-making and attacking quality to the squad. We’re thrilled to keep him at the club.

Welcome back, Joe!

Whether stepping up to fill a gap or putting in a shift for the seconds, he never lets anyone down, always dependable, always willing to put his body on the line, and exactly the kind of consistent performer every club needs. We’re thrilled to have him back for another campaign.

Here's to another storming season George!

The day the Bournville Dozen became Bill Beaumont County Champions!

Moments at HQ the lads will never forget, with the silverware being awarded to Bournville from North Mids in recognition of the work our boys put in, on the back end of a promotion winning season. Unbelievable efforts.

Congratulations lads 👏🍫

OFFICIAL: CALLUM NICHOLLS RE-SIGNS FOR BOURNVILLE RFC 🍫

We are delighted to announce that Callum Nicholls has committed his future to Bournville Rugby ahead of next season.

Cal joined the club from Dudley Kingswinford RFC last term and quickly established himself as a key figure in our squad. He played a huge role throughout our promotion-winning campaign, bringing energy, physicality and reliability to the back row week in, week out.

Fresh from adding a County Championship winners’ medal to his collection following success at Twickenham, he arrives at the start of the new season in excellent form and with great momentum. That experience and winning mentality mean he is perfectly placed to meet the increased demands and challenges of National League 2 rugby.

We know how much effort he puts into both training and matches, and his attitude makes him a real asset to our club. We’re thrilled he’s staying with us as we step up a level.

Welcome back Cal 🍫

OFFICIAL: ADAM COLLINGWOOD RE-SIGNS FOR BOURNVILLE RFC 🍫

We are absolutely delighted to confirm that versatile back Adam Collingwood has committed to another season with us, continuing his journey with the Choccos as we prepare for our National Leagues return.

Mr Reliable, Adam proved his immense value throughout our league-winning campaign last term. Comfortable operating across scrum-half, wing and full-back, his sharp rugby brain, safe hands and intelligent running game mean he always slots in seamlessly wherever needed.

His work rate is outstanding: he covers ground effortlessly, defends with real tenacity, and constantly looks to create chances for those around him. Even when switching roles week to week, his consistency never wavers.

We’re thrilled to keep Adam at the Chocolate Factory for the new campaign!

OFFICIAL: KIERAN HENDERSON RE-SIGNS FOR BOURNVILLE RFC 🍫

We are absolutely delighted to confirm that Kieran Henderson has committed to another season with us, continuing his journey with the Choccos as we prepare for our National Leagues return.

Kieran was named Players’ Player of the Season following our league-winning campaign last term, the ultimate recognition from those he plays alongside week in, week out.

Though he typically cements the scrum together, he found himself featuring at centre more times than he’d like to recall last season. But his pure class and calm ex*****on meant he slotted in seamlessly wherever the side needed him most, showing just how adaptable and reliable he really is.

Kieran is a huge asset to this group. We know he’ll be a vital figure in National League 2 again this year. Powerful, consistent, and not one to shy away when asked to step up and take one for the team.

Still got plenty left to give, still smashing it, and we couldn’t be happier he’s staying put! Even if he doesn't ever approve of the pictures we use on socials 😂
