Birmingham Cobras YBC will be closed returning on 17th then the 1st Warwickshire County training session on the 24th.

Just 6 pins off a trophy for Henry. It was a rocky start but he turned it around.
Rolled much more consistently across the back 3 games.

BUT

Henry was the prize draw winner for Division E and only went and won himself a ball of his choice. Like a kid in a candyshop, literally!

Ball choice and undoubtedly shiny new ball photos to follow in the upcoming weeks 🎳🎳

Special Mention to Cobra Luke Ison, narrowly missing out on prize fund by 4 pins at Stroud Handicap Singles this weekend (6th Place Boys).
Despite tough conditions he rolled a very respectable 1174 Scratch, 195 average, which was in fact the highest scratch pinfall of the tournament 👏👏👏💪🏼

We also wish younger Cobra Henry Stanton good luck at Southern Junior Challenge at Airport Bowl, and Ethan Quinney as MSL this Sunday.

Well VHS week came... Coach Russ decided to have a roll if 3 games...
The Youth Athletes came in hunting.. Highest amongst them Young Henry Stanton... This young man has been threatening high scores and making them but today was a step up indeed...
Luke Ison started 222 but tailed off to finish with 563. 187.7 avg...
Ethan Quinney 157 start but did the opposite refocus, rethink chat with Coach who was not having a good day... lol...Fired in 234 and 213 for a 604 201.33 Avg...
But Henry both HIgh game of 149 and High Series with a Fantastic 401 increase. Hatchet job on Coach Russ who was loving every shot...

2 games afterwards were both into the 100's 130+and 120+ i think a huge 5 game set for a young man who I think raises his average up to 100 now.....

Now if we add handicap...... Oh my to much hurt all round... Henry is king for the day....
