It’s a busy Saturday for Bishop Auckland Cricket Club as both Men’s sides are in action on 6 June 2026.

🔴 1st XI host Saltburn at 13:00 at Bishop Auckland (DL14 7SU).

🔴 2nd XI travel to Preston for a 13:00 start (TS16 0RG).

🏏 The outdoor season is underway! 🏏

On Sunday, our Men’s Social Team held their first outdoor training session of the year, marking the start of another exciting cricket season at Bishop Auckland CC.

It was great to get back on the grass, enjoy some sunshine, and see players blowing off the winter cobwebs in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Our Social Team is all about enjoying cricket, meeting new people, and being part of the club. Whether you’re a complete beginner, returning to the game after a break, or simply looking for a fun way to spend your off time, we’d love to welcome you along.

A fantastic week for Bishop Auckland CC as all three senior sides picked up victories and secured the maximum 25 league points for the club! 👏

🔹 2nd XI defeated Yarm by 114 runs
🔹 3rd XI defeated Barnard Castle by 8 wickets

☀️🏏 The sun is shining, the team sheets are confirmed, and it’s another huge weekend of cricket for Bishop Auckland! Our 1st XI make the trip to Stockton, while the 2nd XI are at home to Yarm on Saturday. The action continues on Sunday as our 3rd XI welcome Barnard Castle in another important fixture.
