Update post of our yard renovations over the last 2 weeks , and a big thank you post .

Happy home = Happy Horses
First we had a company come in and do our drive in and track to the arena and hard standing in our field gateways and hay storage track . They done a brilliant job .

I got in some girls to paint all the fences at the yard exactly how I wanted it done for presentation , again brilliant job

Next , Sarah Driver and Julie Bell Forster thank you for painting the horses stables and always asking if I ever need any help with anything whilst I’ve been working especially over the last 2 weeks when I’ve been in and out of hospital from an accident working which is still ongoing , I wish you would let me pay you 😂

And lastly something which I’ve been wanting to get done for FOUR YEARS , using a 5T digger I paid on hire , some of my spare land has been turned from unsafe and un-useable - to safe and accessible for buildings and horse paddocks for the future , all credit goes to Jay who done all this for free AND hardcored and rolled my car park for free . Jay has literally saved me stress and money the equivalent of a house mortgage and got all this done within a week , after I was quoted 5k+ and 3 weeks not including machinery hire .
Everyone on this post has actually pulled themselves together for me for no other reason than being appreciative of eachother , and not a lot of people are in a similar situation to ever say the same .

So big thanks to everyone on here the last few weeks , the right people make a lot of things easier especially at 21 .
Really happy with the environment and presentation of my yard , and so are the horses 🐴🩶🙌

Did someone say drought ? For everyone the sun and lack of rain has made grazing sparse in our area which can be worrying coming into winter with horses , especially when your yard is based on a hill . Fear not , work has begun on getting ready to build more spare paddocks for this winter coming just in case and foundations for more barns and stables in the future . Got to be organised for going into what’s coming ahead .. 👀 thank you to some of my friends which are helping me on this project at the yard for nothing (I have offered them money and also demanded they let me pay them but they refuse to take any 😹) they must be saving me money on the equivalent of a house deposit . Very lucky

Ted / Teddy is a 14.1h (will make higher) rising 4yo gelding with a very sweet and willing temperament who would turn his hoof to any job in the future
Has been lightly backed see video below in comments , green of course but will undoubtedly be a great addition to anyone’s family whilst he continues with his brave and kind attitude towards life .
