Soft lighting with a relaxing end to class always 💫

Breakfast Yoga ☀️ Thank you

Grateful to everyone who joined me yesterday for our Summer breakfast yoga...

Thinking about the summer we have had, it's bounty and abundance and giving thanks to the sun ☀️

It was a lovely way to see in the beginning of September with lovely people, an uplifting flow and some nutritious breakfast goodies...

Elderberry Syrup💜

I'm not going to lie, I've struggled to keep up with all the homemade things this summer but this syrup is one I can't miss!

Packed with Vitamin A and C I am convinced it sees us through the Winter months.
It's super easy to make and gives you another reason to get outside in the hedgerows 💚

Natural, cheap and full of goodness...

Fill a pan with elderberries after removing big stalks
Cover with water and simmer for 30mins
Squash /mash the berries
Strain through Muslin cloth

Return liquid to the pan and simmer for 30mins along with around half a cup of local honey and some cinnamon sticks

Voila!

We tend to take a tablespoon when anyone in the house is a bit run down or I'm aware there's lots of bugs going around at school etc

I freeze jars of it to last through Winter and always have one ready to go in the fridge...

Every Summer we have a picnic after class but this year's was pretty special...

The thing that genuinely never ceases to amaze me is how many lovely people seem to gravitate towards our class...

The community we have built together is magic.

Thank you to Matt and Claire who offered us their beautiful garden and thank you to all the kind and generous people who come to class and make it feel so wonderful.
