Coach Fiona said…
‘These 3 Amigos were having the time of their lives. The initial apprehension about the temperature quickly dissipated once they were in the water. This session was all about the distance and all 3 of them were incredible!! They swam over 1750m covering their largest circuit and were out of depth the entire time!! They even learned some interesting new skills such as drinking juice (rocket fuel we called it) in the water, but more importantly…how to bargain for jelly babies and consume almost an entire bag between them🤣🤣. They chilled on their backs using tow floats as pillows and even practiced their butterfly. Hunter was so excited that fly is easier in a wetsuit and can’t wait to tell Doug 🤣🤣.

Huge thanks to Fiona Hunter for shore cover and Mairi for helping with the hot drinks and snacks.

As always, thank you to for their hospitality.

Finally, once the session was done and dusted our fabulous coach, Jenni, and I went for a swim ourselves and it was gorgeous. We can’t wait to do it all again very soon’.
