ANNOUNCEMENT!!!!!

Meet our Sports Rehab Team

"Please join me in re-introducing Carole and Rachel, together known as Cool Health.

Some of you have been fortunate enough to work with this dynamic duo and some of you have no doubt heard of their work.

For anyone new or anyone who has not been introduced yet, Carole and Rachel are here to support the team and offer their expertise in corrective exercise, musculoskeletal rehabilitation, hands on therapy (such as clinical massage, lymphatic drainage, myofascial release, and scar tissue therapy), and nutrition/lifestyle management. They work together to help people resolve musculoskeletal issues, pain and injury and bridge the gap between early stage rehabilitation and performance.

Carole has been a veteran supporter for many years, volunteering her time and skills to organizations such as Combat Stress (through Healing Hands Network), West London Mission (through Healing Hands Network), and the Invictus Games competitors (through Restore Therapy). Through her work with Combat Stress she has travelled to Bosnia to work with people affected by the war there and has a deep understanding of how people can be affected by it.

Carole and Rachel met in 2017 when they were both working for the same clinic in central London and on first sight, they knew they wanted to work together. They had to wait a few years for this, and finally in 2020 they joined forces and Rachel has been working with Carole in all the same areas, with all the above people, and their day-to-day clients.

As well as all of the above, Rachel specializes in Fascial Stretch Therapy. Which is a perfect complement to the rest of the work done at Cool Health. It is a modality that is unique to North America and there are very few FST practitioners in the UK. FST is a table- based manual stretching technique that uses traction to allow the muscle and fascia surrounding it to ease into new ranges of motion that were previously not reachable. It is best used for improving range of motion, decreasing stress/ tension, relieving pain and discomfort and in that, improving physical performance.

Together, Carole and Rachel have a combined 52 years of experience and it shows. The level of detail and care in their work is second to none and they are kindly offering their time and expertise, not only to keep us match-ready, but give us the skills and the know-how to look after our health, our wellbeing, and the injuries we’ve sustained through the years."

Here's some of the little legends who benefit from the aid of SCOTTYS LITTLE SOLDIERS
On a day out at Horse Guards, London.

Just think what these children have suffered
This ain't a angle it's a reality and a dark one
Each one of those little people have lost a parent due to conflict.

We don't hear about it much but sadly there's alot more than the ones pictured below
It is absolutely essential that this entity remains operational forever

Everything we do running up to next year and the match itself is in aid of these people

Please donate, please purchase a ticket

The lads are worth the hype and so is the mission

"Thank you to Scotty's for the grant towards the cost of driving lessons. Putting a child through driving lessons is one of those haemorrhaging money situations 🙈, so every little helps! It was worth it though, as he passed first time and I'm so proud of him!"

Thanks to Scotty Mum, Anna, for this update on her son, Sam's driving lessons. Sam is a Springboarder and received our Scotty Driving Grant, a one-off payment of £100 towards driving lessons. We hope you'll all join us in congratulating him on passing his driving test!

Hi everyone

Hope everyone is well

I notice alot of the support comes from depending on what player is related to you.

There for the stuff that only gets shared is stuff that contains your loved one.

That's awesome and love that your supporting them but on the other hand alot of content that could possibly attract more support of the clubs mission is being missed

It's not about the individual it's about the whole team and its objectives

We really need to get people to help spread the word even if your relative is not featured in that segment

There's a purpose of it all and it's a massive team effort on and off the pitch

Please further your support by supporting the whole squad and its mission please

Then we have a bigger chance of success

Ladies and Gentlemen

Allow me to introduce Mrs Nikki Scott
The founder of SCOTTYS LITTLE SOLDIERS

On the 10th July 2009 her husband CPL Lee Scott of the Royal Tank Regiment

Was killed by a I.E.D (improvised explosive Device) whilst taking part in Operation Panthers claw.

Lee left behind his loving wife nikki and there two young children, Kai & Brooke

Nikki like many other wife's recieving the horrific news then had to tell her young children that there father wouldn't be coming home

Nikki then went on to form SCOTTYS LITTLE SOLDIERS so that people in the same situation as herself would be able to have the support in place to assist with the life changing effects of war suffered by many families and above all the young baby's left behind.

Nikki is by far a un-sung hero
And I think what she has set up and what she is striving to achieve and has achieved is nothing short of a inspiration and in the circumstances she has done it in, a extremely hard task

It is so important that these kids are able to access the support of SCOTTYS and not just for now but forever

Sadly more children will be in the same position as kai and Brooke one day
It's a dark reality but it's one that is real and one that needs assistance

This is why we are here doing what we are doing
Building a great football team so we can play huge matches that attract attention so we can raise loads of money and awareness so that our Un-Sung heros within the Veterans community can remain operational

Please donate to these people
The donations page is pinned to the top of the page

Nikki keep doing what you doing
