We are a friendly, sociable badminton club comprising a mixture of male and female players aged 16+ (Younger is permitted when accompanied by a responsible adult). We have 2 club nights, Wednesdays 8pm to 10pm (Also known as The Wednesday Shuttles) and 2 sessions on Sundays, 4pm to 6pm and 6pm to 8pm (Also known as Hayley/Sunday Smashers Badminton Club). Three Herts & Essex badminton club members (Mervin, Sue and Wing) were at the Badminton England conference in Benfleet on Sunday for a day of discussion and chat about coaching and improving our club. If you check out the group photo you might see some familiar faces!
