In December 2023, John suffered a life-changing brain injury after falling from height. After waking from an induced coma almost three weeks later, he began an extraordinary journey of recovery β learning to eat, talk, and walk again during a year in hospital.
Since returning home, John has been working tirelessly on his rehab β and weβve had the absolute pleasure of seeing him in action here at Vision Fitness, putting in incredible effort, consistency and drive every single session. πͺ His determination and attitude have inspired everyone around him.
Now, 18 months on from his injury, John has taken up running and already completed a 10K race as part of his marathon preparation β a truly phenomenal achievement when you remember that just a year ago, he couldnβt walk unaided.

27 people including and some members are taking part in the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge. This will be taking most of them well beyond their comfort zones! They have been training as hard as possible to ensure they are as prepared as possible for the event.
They are all raising money in tribute to a team memberβs husband David, who sadly passed away earlier this year. During the last few months of Davidβs life, the incredible nurses at St Clare Hospice provided an amazing level of emotional and physical support for David and his family.
We would be immensely appreciative if you can support St Clare Hospice by donating whatever you can.
Every contribution will help them to continue to provide invaluable support to people and families who are going through such unimaginable times.
Thank you
