MEET OUR BSRF 2027 AMBASSADORS 🙌

We’re really excited to introduce our ambassador team for Bishop’s Stortford Running Festival 2027.

For us, the ambassador programme is about more than promoting the event. It’s about helping more people get moving, start running and feel confident enough to take on a challenge of their own.

That’s why we’ve chosen a varied group of people from across the local running and fitness community, including:

🏃 Runners and content creators
🎯 Coaches
💪 Personal trainers
🩺 Physios and health professionals
🙌 People passionate about helping others get active

Each ambassador brings something different to the team, whether that’s training advice, injury prevention, motivation, local knowledge or simply showing that running is for everyone.

Over the coming months, you’ll be seeing plenty more from them as they share tips, training, stories and support on the road to Sunday 2 May 2027.

Keep an eye out as we introduce them individually 👀

WE COULDN’T DO IT WITHOUT YOU 💙

One of the things that made the first Bishop’s Stortford Running Festival so special was the incredible group of volunteers who gave up their time to help make the day happen.

From cheering runners around the course and handing out medals, to helping with registration, the event village and everything in between - our 2026 volunteers brought so much energy, kindness and community spirit to the event.

For 2027, we’d love to build another amazing volunteer team.

📅 Sunday 2 May 2027

No experience is needed, just a willingness to get involved and help us create another brilliant day for Bishop’s Stortford.

WHAT’S NEW FOR BSRF 2027? 👀

We listened to your feedback from the first Bishop’s Stortford Running Festival, and we’re making some exciting changes for 2027.

🏃 A new and improved route
We’re revising the course to avoid some of the narrower sections, give runners more space and introduce additional road closures to create a smoother race-day experience.

🍻 A better post-race experience
We’re improving refreshments and adding a brand-new b**r tent, giving runners, friends and family more reason to stick around, relax and celebrate after the finish.

🎪 More for the whole family
We want race day to be a brilliant day out for everyone, so in 2027 we’re adding even more entertainment for our younger supporters.

Same brilliant community atmosphere. Even better race-day experience.
