🎣 Hey fisherpeeps! Happy Friday! 🎣
Hope everyone is having a fab Friday and getting ready for the weekend!
We're absolutely raring to go and can't wait to welcome everyone booked onto our coaching sessions this Sunday!
This is the first event of its kind for the club, with the full backing of our team of accredited Angling Trust coaches, and we're hopeful this will be the first of many similar events we can offer to you all. A massive step forward for the club and our mission to get more juniors fishing and build a strong community around our shared passion!
Keep your eyes peeled on the page for our post-session update when we name drop the sponsors! You don't want to miss this one! 👀
A quick heads-up for our regulars: Sunday morning will see the closure of the five swims on the Station Road side of the pond until 1pm to accommodate the coaching sessions. So, if you're planning a session, please bear this in mind and head over to the Wi******er Road side.
Whilst we're here, check out some of the amazing feedback we've received over the past few weeks! We genuinely cannot express how grateful we are for all the support and kind words. Seeing the impact we're having on our community means so much to us and gives us a real nod that we're heading in the right direction. Hugely appreciated, everyone! ❤️
And if that wasn't enough to get us buzzing this week, one of our juniors has only gone and landed a MONSTER 20lb carp! 🤯
Not only is this an absolutely massive achievement for the angler, but it's also a fish that no member has caught before! That means we've now had a 22lb and a 20lb carp caught this year by our members.
At this rate, we're going to need a bigger boat!! 😅
So, grab your gear, get yourselves down to the pond and make the most of the weekend. These fish are growing, the catches are getting better, and who knows what's going to come out next!
Tight lines, everyone, and have a cracking weekend! 🎣
