Omg Clark/Lex I shipped this so hard.

Growing up, I went through a lot. My older brother had very severe mental health struggles—what some might now call BPD—and it was a lot to deal with. He passed away a few years ago, and I still feel the weight of those times. To escape, I found solace in Smallville. I used to imagine myself as someone Lex Luthor took in. Knowing the character, I felt like Lex needed a brother, and at that moment, I needed one too. Somehow, imagining that relationship brought me peace.

Michael Rosenbaum’s portrayal of Lex will always hold a special place in my heart because of that. Even my mum remembers him and the comfort the show gave me during what was an awful time. Smallville became my safe place—a world where I could escape, dream, and find some kind of comfort when things felt unbearable.

I miss those days sometimes. Life feels so different now, and I miss the sense of escape and connection that Smallville gave me. But I’ll always be grateful for the show, the characters, and for Michael Rosenbaum’s Lex, who somehow gave me the brotherly bond I so desperately needed.

My Father passed away in the early hours this morning. He's not suffering anymore. The cancer was fast, he fought it best he could. His fight is over, with no more pain and suffering. I love you Dad ❤️

Was going to watch the moon landing, but I'm that fatigued I may give it a miss tonight. Hopefully it goes well.

Who else is waking up like Ned Stark?! "Winter Is Coming." Think our chronic illnesses can feel it can't we. A flare up coming at me like a White Walker. 🥶🤒🤣😂 Best order my vitamin dragon glass. 😏

I wondered why I woke up at 5am for a tea and smoke. Was a good job with the IBS attack just then. Murder eh? You never know what is next. Such is life with a chronic illness.

Can people keep a look out for hedgehogs in their garden and if they are out in the day then they aren't well. We are getting a lot out at the moment. So if you have dogs check the yard before you let them out. Also mind driving on roads at the night as they are often on the roads too. Little bit of water and some wet meat is helpful to leave out for them. 🦔
