Creative Football

REMINDER: The social inclusion football session returns this Wednesday (18th February) at Witton 3G 11am - 12.
The session will be facilitated by Kemple View Psychiatric Services and Creative Support (Blackburn with Darwen) so plenty of familiar faces!
Please bring your completed referral form with you or pick one up on the day. Subs will be £3 and everything else will be the same.

It was fantastic to see so many coming to support the final day!

We had people who'd booked days off, people down who are injured, folk down who have referred service users, lads from the evening sessions & our regulars!

It was amazing to see so many adults from so many different walks of life join us for what was 1 of the best Social Inclusion sessions we have been fortunate to deliver!

Thank you to every participant present, past & the ones who are no longer with us!

It's been the most valuable, rewarding & intense job at times but it has all been worth it!

We took a huge risk when we went as a business but we braved & embraced Doing Things Different.

However every single 1 of you who stepped on the pitch with us are the bravest. We are so proud to see your progress in yourselves & your lives. You all have a place in our hearts.

Creative Football may have stopped but you dont stop now, you never stop, keep progressing, keep pushing through societies barriers, , & keep 💚⚽️

It's going to be emotional but we want it to be a day of celebration!

9:30am - Join us for a chat & brew

10:50am - On the pitch

11am - Social Inclusion Football

12:00pm - Farewell thank you & goodbyes (bring the tissues 🤧)

Food, brews & pop - 12.15pm

Followed by a Magic show by the incredible Darren Brand!

It was the SIFL Academy Finale of all Finale's!

The final whistle was blown on our 14 year old Social Inclusion Football League today!

14 years, 28 seasons, numerous divisions, yearly Unity cup tournament, 100's of teams, 10's of thousands of players!

Teams from addiction, hospitals, Football therapy, asylum seeker/refugee, homelessness, disability, learning difficulties, early intervention, college/pan ability etc

We want to thank you all so much, it's been a pleasure meeting you all, watching you all progress in life and moving on, some still with us from day 1!

We wish you all the very best in the future!
