What a day for grassroots football across Lancashire! ⚽🔥

Our Founder Club Barrowford Celtic Football Club are hosting their Presentation Days and Fun Day today — always one of the best weekends of the year for the club and the community.

Over in Pendle, another Founder Club Colne FC Juniors have their tournament kicking off — good luck to every team taking part, it’s always a brilliant event.

And the mighty Fulledge Colts have their tournament starting today too — huge day for all the players, coaches and families involved.

I’ll be down at Readstone United Junior Football Club for my own lad’s presentation day — can’t wait to see all the kids celebrating their hard work this season.

Grassroots football is alive and buzzing today.

As they prepare for U13 football next season, Lancashire United U12 Girls are looking to add a small number of experienced players to their established squad.

We are looking for a passionate, reliable and positive coach to join our brilliant group.

If you love developing players, creating an engaging, enthusiastic and inclusive environment, and being part of a growing girls’ football community, we’d love to hear from you.

Ideally, we’re looking for someone with experience of leading sessions for various age groups who can take a topic and set out their own session, delivering with another coach or on their own dependent on the group size. No two weeks are the same at The Hub. Our group of coaches are able to move across the age groups when required and also help out in our Goalkeeping session. As a close knit team we ensure that everyone is supported in their role.

We’d love to see someone who is actively supporting girls’ and women’s football currently or perhaps you’ve had a bit of time out and are looking to get back in.

Level 1/Introduction to Coaching Football as a minimum with an interest in broadening their coaching experience and knowledge.

We’re supporters of all girls’ and women’s football at Her Football Coaching Hub Ltd and with between 15-20 clubs represented on Monday nights, you really will be a fan of all, speaking enthusiastically about the teams and our session at The Hub.
