β Huge shoutout to North East Wash & Shine β
A massive thank you to North East Wash and Shine for kindly cleaning all of our windows this morning.
He went above and beyond, and our windows are now sparkling and shining beautifully! β¨πͺ
What makes this even more amazing is that he carried out the work completely free of charge to support our charity. His generosity, kindness, and willingness to help are truly appreciated.
Please give his page a like and show your support. Itβs fantastic to see businesses helping charities and giving back in such a meaningful way.

π **User Group Spotlight: Czech School Aberdeen** π¨πΏπ π
This week, weβre shining the spotlight on **Czech School Aberdeen** β a wonderful group celebrating Czech and Slovak culture, language, and community right here at Kinellar Community Centre πβ€οΈπ€
π
**How long have they been with us?**
Czech School Aberdeen has been part of our community centre for around **9 months**, bringing families together through language, culture, and shared traditions β¨
π― **What happens during a typical session?**
Every three weeks on a Saturday morning, children aged **4β12 years old** come together to learn more about Czech culture and traditions while developing their Czech language skills in a fun and supportive environment π
π₯ **Who is the group for?**
The group is mainly for children who have at least one parent from Czechia and want to stay connected to their language and heritageβbut anyone interested in learning more about Czech and Slovak culture is welcome to get involved in their wider events and activities π¨πΏπΈπ°
π **What makes this group special?**
Czech School Aberdeen is all about celebrating multilingualism, culture, and identity while creating a welcoming community for families living away from home π
π‘ **Why families love this group:**
Children build confidence in speaking Czech, learn about traditions and culture, and make friendships with other families sharing similar experiences. Itβs also a fantastic way for children to stay connected to their roots while growing up in Scotland β¨
π¬ **Favourite part of the group?**
βCelebrating multilingualism and promoting Czech/Slovak culture.β β€οΈ
π **A proud achievement:**
The group now has **20 children attending**, all growing in confidence and celebrating progress in their Czech language skills every time they meet πβ¨
π’ **Upcoming Event:**
π² On **20th June at 10am**, the group will be meeting at **Back oβ Bennachie car park** for hill walking, roasting sausages on a bonfire, and enjoying traditional games together π₯π
π¬ **Thinking of joining?**
Whether you already speak Czech, want your children to stay connected to their heritage, or are simply curious to learn more about Czech and Slovak culture, youβll be warmly welcomed π
