💙 June is Men's Health Awareness Month 💙

At Wyre Seagulls, we believe that looking after your mental health is just as important as looking after your physical health.

As a club, we are committed to supporting one another both on and off the ice. Hockey is a team sport, but being part of a team means more than just what happens during games and training. It means being there for each other through the highs, the lows, and everything in between.

We also encourage everyone in our wider community to check in with friends, family, teammates, and colleagues. A simple conversation can make a huge difference.

Remember: it's okay to not be okay. Speaking up is a sign of strength, not weakness.

Let's continue to support each other, listen without judgement, and remind those around us that they never have to face things alone.

A huge thank you to Dan Coxon, our coach, for organising 2 boats at this year’s dragon boat race. None of today would have happened without him.

As a team we raised over £5,500 for and Dan’s hard work, dedication, and commitment made it all possible. He’s not only an incredible coach, but one of the best individuals we know.

Good Evening Seagull fans,

Last year, our team absolutely smashed it — a clean sweep. 🏆 and some of you massively helped us so again I am asking for more help!!

We didn’t just win the event, we also raised the highest amount of money out of all 22 teams.



This year… we’re not just coming back — we’re coming back to obliterate it.



We’ll be taking on a high-intensity, extremely competitive dragon boat race — pushing ourselves to the limit for a cause that truly matters.



We’re raising funds for Blue Skies Trust, an incredible charity dedicated to enhancing patient care across NHS teaching hospitals — making a real difference to patients and their families when it matters most.



Every donation, big or small, helps support vital equipment, research, and improvements that go beyond standard NHS funding.
