Another great turnout for our Ladies 1s & 2s pre-season session! 💪 with lots still to return soon, some new faces and some players returning to CBN!

The numbers are already looking good, with great energy, hard work and plenty of competition for places as we build towards the new season. L3/L4 equally putting in the hard work!

🏆 SOUTHPORT 7s U10 CHAMPIONS! 🏆

A big well done to some of our CBN U10s who travelled to Southport today for the Southport 7s Tournament.

The team were brilliant all day , playing 8 matches and finishing with 21 points to be crowned tournament champions! 🥇👏

Every player represented the club brilliantly and should be incredibly proud. A big thank you as well to all the parents for your fantastic support throughout the day. Thanks to all the other teams and the organisers for a great day

👏 A special mention goes to their coach, Lee Walsh.

Lee coaches both our U8s and U10s and has done an incredible job with the development of our young players. Like many of our amazing volunteers, Lee is also a parent, player and coach, giving up his time week in, week out to help develop the next generation of CBN players.

He gets the balance just right between learning, development and enjoyment, making sure every child continues to improve while leaving each session with a smile on their face!

Volunteers like Lee are the heartbeat of our club, and we simply couldn’t do what we do without them. Thank you, Lee! 💙

Celebrating the People Behind the Pathway

Over recent weeks, we have celebrated the achievements of our junior players and Masters representatives who continue to excel on regional, national and international stages. However, a successful club is about much more than the players on the pitch.

Behind every player pathway are dedicated volunteers, parents, coaches and supporters who give their time to help others develop and enjoy the game. As part of our commitment to recognising those individuals, we are shining a spotlight on some of the people who make CBN what it is today.

First up is Lewis Rowan, whose journey from hockey parent to qualified coach is a fantastic example of how our club supports the development of volunteers as well as players

Today is another fantastic example of what can be achieved through the CBN Junior Pathway.

👏 George D represented the North West Tensworth Academy U13s at the UK Lions Tournament in Nottingham.

👏 Ava P, Seth L, and Oliver M represented the North West Talent Academy in Stafford.

All four players started their journeys at CBN as young juniors and have worked their way through our player pathway, developing their skills, confidence and understanding of the game year after year.

While we are incredibly proud of these individual achievements, they also highlight something bigger, the strength of our junior section and the opportunities available to young players at CBN. From junior training and match play through to county, academy TA and beyond, we are committed to creating an environment where players can learn, develop and reach their full potential.

These four players are fantastic role models for the next generation of CBN juniors coming through behind them
