After phenomenonal success of our 1st blackburn open badminton tournament where we witnessed high class players like harry wright,lim kenn , harley towler , mark middleton, peter briggs and alan clarkson , blackburn sports club as promised brings you badminton tournament for all league players ( division 1,2,3 players only) . This tournament 'OLYMPIC BADMINTON TOURNAMENT' is our part of olympic celebrations in Partnership with Blackburn and Darwen borough council and will be held on 26th &27 th of may 2012.
The tournament is for juniors and seniors
Juniors under 16 - boys singles, girls single , boys doubles, girls doubles( entry fee 2.50 p)
Seniors - mens single, mens double , womens single, womens double, mixed doubles. Entry fee for single event is 10 pounds , 15 pounds for doubles & mixed events per each team .
Prizes
trophies and medals for under 16's
Mens singles winner 100 pounds, runners up 75
Womens singles winner 100 pounds , runners up 75
Mens doubles winner 150 pounds, runners up 100
womens doubles winner 150 pounds , runners up 100
Mixed doubles winner 150 pounds , runners up 100
Entries fees should reach us by 21st . All matches will be paid in feather shuttles.
